Kind of a yawner of a draft for the Mavs tonight. So we drafted the next KVH/Croshere and a guy who will never ever see the inside of the AAC unless he is planning on buying tickets and sitting with the rest of us.

I love this profile...but don't all draft picks look good on paper? Except for the Barry comparison...geez, if that's not the ugliest family ever I don't know who is.
From NBAdraft.net
Renaldas Seibutis
Birthdate: 7/23/85
NBA Position: SG/PG
Ht: 6-6
Wt: 180
Hometown: Mazeikiai, Lithuania
Int. Team: Olympiakos
NBA Comparison: Brent Barry
Strengths: One of the top handful of talents in the next generation out of Lithuania ... Very quick shooting guard with good size who loves to slash to the basket ... Nice athlete ... Good vision and passing skills, can even spend time at the PG position ... Very adept at creating off the dribble and loves to take the ball all the way to the basket ... A coachable kid with a great attitude ... Sort of a Brent Barry without the great shooting ability
Weaknesses: While he's a great scorer, he needs to work on his outside shooting, he's so fast and handles so well he gets by most defenders at will and shows no interest in shooting the ball, he'll need to develop this area of his game... Defense is improving, he has the right attitude towards it, just needs to develop better technique... Still very slight body, must put on more strength ...

I like this pick at 49 for the Bulls.
Aaron Gray at 7' that blocks shots, rebounds and offense is improving. He will get to play some next year for the Bulls. To fill in at times and help. Good pick.

Whar are the Mavs doing drafting all these white guys? White guys can't play basketball!
Seriously, when was the last time a white guy won MVP?

Didn't Nick Young get invited to the draft? He may go undrafted.

I'm kind of like a Steve Kerr without the jump shot. Or a slow Earl Boykins.

I thought Young got drafted in the lotto (like around #13). Of course I was working at Cheddars and just spot checking the TV, but I thought that was him that got selected around there.

Hey guys we still have a pick, time to get a "Sleeper." And by "Sleeper" I mean someone who will make us all yawn.

Haha, i laughed on that sleeper and yawn. That caught me off guard. I loved it and yes we better do something in fa. We sucked tonight and i promise you alot of teams did good tonight. Portland, SA, GS all did and i think Detroit did ok. Plus others did well.

Detroit is worried about Billups. They are getting a guard every time. I think that is 3 or 4 they have grabbed. Pretty good ones also.
