I'm not sure how that ball hooked back in short of God pushing it with his own bare hands.

I guess if we needed any proof, it's shown today. Jerry Jones' pact with Satan has clearly run out.

I wonder how different the outcome would've been if we'd just taken the extra point instead of going for two, thereby allowing us to burn clock on that last possession instead of lining up for the eventual game-changing field goal play.

Wow@that kick. How in the hell did it swerve all the way to the left like that? Just bs. Its a shame because Romo played his ass off today. Even played better than his debut. BS how that game ended.

I am sick to my stomach... Talk about up and down... Talk about a game we should have won 4 times. Can you believe the drop by TO that puts us up 14... Can you believe the penalties... Can you believe the blocked kick on a friggin 35 yarder that should have put us at 5-3... Can you believe the call to give the Redskins a kick to win it????
This is the sickest I have felt after a Cowboys loss since the Leon Lett fiasco vs. Miami!
Talk about having a win in your back pocket and letting idiotic play after idiotic play give a #^$%&%#^@#%#$@#$%$# win to those rat bastards...
What a game by Romo wasted by the inability to finish! That loss right there likely ends any 10-6 opportunities I had hoped for. Now there is ABSOLUTELY no room for error and this team has showed today that errors are all they want to make. This team should be 5-3 right now and looking at facing Indy at 6-3. Instead, we will likely leave the Indy game 5-5!!!

Why is FASANO who everyone with a brain knows cant block worth a piss blocking on the extra point play? He already missed a block with a WIDE open TO on a play earlier in the game(i would say it cost us points but who knows TO probably would have dropped it...)

I think it would have been if it hadn't twisted his head around.

I am in disbelief. Washington was just begging to lose that game.....pleading for the Cowboys to pull away just like they did in Carolina.
If TO makes that catch it's game over. Romo played plenty well to win. Not to mention the running game was slicing their D up, especially Barber, so of course we go away from it.......God......what a disaster.

The penalties, TO's drops, the silly decision to go for 2 points in the 1st quarter...there are many things you could blame for the loss.
Bottom line, they're a .500 team.

He is definitely overrated. Great talent, but certainly not sure-handed, at least not this year.

You know Chum, you are absolutely right. But blame truly can go all around with exception to a select few, mainly Romo. I think his worst decision tonight was that 3 yard dump play near the end of the first half that MIGHT have cost us 4 points. So many mistakes. So many!
But yes, if TO makes that catch it is an absolute dagger to Washington. Instead it fired them up and took us by shock. As good as Newman has been, his bite that forced Roy to have to try to cover Lloyd down field on that pass inteference call hurt BAD. If Newman sticks with him with Safety help, I find it hard to see them scoring a 2nd touchdown! Just so many mistakes that added up to this incredibly painful loss. Damn this one hurts!

Yea if Keyshawn and Steve Smith make their catch's we're 3 and 5 if you guys want to play the "What if..." game lol. Drops are a part of football. I'd think though the great TO wouldn't drop the best throw of the day to him though.

Now we HAVE to at least go 6-2 with games against Indy, NY, Philly and Atlanta coming up. I truly believed we could because I never expected this loss, (and we shouldn't have lost-obviously), but now, I truly think we might have just got knocked out of the playoffs.
I said we would lose to Carolina and win against Washington though so I still perceived us doing this, (which would have actually been a 7-2 run), so I guess I am not totally jumping ship here. With that said, to make the run AFTER a loss this devastating, (which is why I am actually doubting now), would also have a difficult time not being thrown into the Fiction shelf!

You hit it right on the head. With all the mistakes and penalties. It should have ended with the Cowboys with the ball with 30 seconds left after the missed FG. Cowboys ahead 20-19 with Redskins with 2 time-outs. Game over...Romo kneels down for 3 straight plays..Cowboys walk out with a narrow hard fought victory. At press time, Parcels talks about all the penalties and what they need to do to stop this madness. But in the end, Cowboys 5-3...
Never in my life have I seen a game end like this. NEVER.....

Thats kinda harsh. What about all the penalties, sorry as* covering Roy, Parcels going for 2, Tight end going out of bounds at the end with nobody 25 yards from him, or even that player who gave Washington 15 extra yards on the blocked punt? I can name many people with a hand in this loss. Even with all the PLAYER mistakes, we should at least not have coaching mistakes like going for 2 in the 1st quarter. Game would have ended 20-19 at the end with the cowboys kneeling for 3 straight plays at the end..But all in all, I too am disappointed in T.O. He owes Romo two TD's..One for the Giant drop and today..

The only good thing that came from this game is that there are Redskins fans out there getting their hopes up. I can't wait for those hopes to get smashed next week.
