I don't.
Watch us get jenkins at 28.
The picks would be interchangable!

Mendenhall going with the next pick, to Pitt. We'll be able to measure this decision quite readily!

Hmm... it's interesting, but yeah, I would have rather had Mendenhall. I mean, hell, Jones does average like 8 yards a carry, and like Mendenhall, he doesn't have the wear and tear as a lot of other backs.
Looks like Steelers have taken Mendenhall. Tennessee takes Thomas or Sweed, right?

I was excited about getting Felix Jones but I did not think Mendendhall and Jenkins would be there. I hope Jenkins falls to #28 or i'm going to be really dissapointed with this draft.

Wonder why Steelers want Mendendhall? Goin' for best player available on their board? Willie Parker is still considered one of the best running backs in the league still right?

From the sounds of it, Jason Garrett has a big smile on his face on this one. I don't know a ton about college football, but he seems to be a better complement to Barber as he is more of a speed guy to Barber's battering ram style.
That Jenkins guy sounded pretty good though.

I was excited about Jones, too, so I'm not going to allow myself to be disappointed. The kid is a flat-out speed merchant, and I'm happy we have him. If Mendenhall is better so be it, but that's going to take some doing!
We now have our returner, too, so it's all good.

Vince Young needs some help. Do they go after a reciever or running back? I imagine since Mendendhall is off the board they have to go after a reciever.
Mel Kiper gave Felix Jones a A and Mendendhall a B? Or is he grading on teams needs?

7.7 yards/carry. Second most in NCAA history. GG Felix.

Well the thing I hate is passing up on the best overall running back like we did with Stephen Jackson. But if we plan on using Felix for kick returning as well than i'm feeling a little better about the move. I'm feeling great if we still get Jenkins with the #28. I guess what it comes down to is the Cowboys had the choice of who'd they rather take a risk on falling to the #28 spot. Jenkins or Jones? Maybe they chose Jones.

Wow, Titans take Chris Johnson. That really, REALLY surprises me.
If Thomas falls, do you take him?

Also, that's the first offensive player we've taken in the first round since David LaFleur.

Didn't sound like we had to give up a lot either - 5th and a 7th.

its the cowboys situation but in reverse. in the cowboys case the all around/pounding guy is the pro bowler and the speed guy is the change of pace guy. in the steelers case, the pro bowler is the speed guy and the change of pace back will be an all around/pounding guy.

Hm, so a 1st a 5th and a 7th for Jenkins basically...
A 4th corner this year you would hope.

So what is the deal on Pacman? I read it's still not finalized. How will this pick affect that?

Boy, you ain't never lied. If we take Jenkins at 22, no way we get Jones. So we take Jones and then insist on still getting Jenkins. How lovely is that?

It's finalized, for all intents and purposes. This pick doesn't affect it all.

So it sounds like we have some serious depth at cornerback now. This is a major change from last year when Jacques Reeves was getting burnt left and right.

how this affects the pacman deal is this, if pacman pans out like we hope but cant count on, we have the best corner situation in the nfl. if not we are still solid. plus tnew is getting a little old and hes still unsigned. good pick.
not to mention how good we are in the return game now(jones on kickoffs and the other jones on punts)
