I had this entire season of Archer sitting on my TiVo. Not sure why I hadn't been watching - burned through them over the weekend. Amazing show/season. Pretty much every episode was excellent.

I've been watching The Wire lately. Just finished season 1 the other day. I'll get around to season 2 when Spring Break starts.

Community is utter genius.
SPOILER (well kinda)
Mocking a Ken Burn's documentary is really in a new level of comedy. Ken Burns Civil War is by far away my favorite documentary of all time, and just wow. Wow.

Disappointed with all the advertisements they've put in Community. Its like the producers "Know" people who watch this show are skipping commercials. The whole Subway episode seemed kind of like a sell-out. And now this week they put in Sealy(though very briefly) and some other product, I forget which.

I think it is just a sign of the times. I'm sure you'll encounter about ten times more ads during your last internet session while you posted this. Now ads are even doubling up in commercials as well. GE and Coke one is ridiculous. What can you do?

If it helps to keep the show on the air, I don't care. Remember that Chuck had a deal with Subway that brought in enough revenue to save it from cancellation.

I love that community doesn't give a crap. They just do what they want to do. Heck, they had an entire episode based on "My dinner with Andre", which would be a pretty obscure minor reference, let alone an entire episode. I only watched that movie because I was forced to in sociology class in college.

Product placement isn't bad so long as it's obvious that it's product placement. When Subway offered them the cash, I'm sure the writers were given free reign on what to do with it.
You have to admit, making a KFC-brand space simulator ("We are 40 light years outside of the Buttermilk Nebula, although it's possible that … yeah, this is a sticker.") or an episode turning Subway into a literal human being are pretty ingenious ways to do product placement.

Latest GOT episode "Blackwater" is about as good as tv gets.
Newest Mad Men was also excellent.

So the pilot to "Newsroom" was pretty freaking awesome.
And the show as a whole appears to be getting panned by most critics, so this looks like it's going to be deja vu all over again.

So I'm catching up on the new episodes of Breaking Bad...and am I understanding it correctly that the little boy that Walt poisoned did NOT die?

The boys on BaD Radio weren't all that impressed with Newsroom. I haven't checked it out yet.. I think I'll probably pass. Everyone I've heard talk about the show seemed to think that it belonged on network television.

I love it. Despite its incredible ultra left wing position on every issue (despite the show within a show claiming to be unbiased), I love it.
I recognize why others don't, and I'd be lying if I denied an eye roll here and there, but I'm such a sucker for Sorkin and his dialogue and his ability to write the big moment.

Correct... That was revealed in last season's finale. He used a dangerous, but non-lethal poison on the boy to motivate Jesse to act against Gus.

If you liked West Wing or The American President then you might enjoy the witty and quick dialogue. Other than that, it's pretty bland.
