Parsons isn't going to be benched anytime soon for poor performance. Parsons is considered a huge part of this current team as well as a building block for the future.

If Parsons gets benched, it will be because he did something bad, not because he had an off night shooting. Carlisle does bench guys, but it took Dalembert literally sleeping through practice, Larkin acting unprofessionally, or guys repeatedly slacking off on defense for Carlisle to bench them.
Parsons played hard and was effective defensively-- he just had a crappy offensive night. |
