This whole thread is pretty funny, but what's ironic is that CadBane was actually right about this... because Haywood really regressed. They only averaged something like 14/15 because Haywoods boards and rebounds were -4 this year from last year.

Chandler & Haywood's value isn't really wrapped up in the points/rebounds stats anyway - their defense is what makes them most valuable.

No doubt, rebounds, defense. When there's a break down in the defense, chandler, Haywood is our backline eraser, erase our mistakes, either swat the shot, interfere with the shot, go matador, but enough has been done to disrupt the layup attempt or even force the ball handler to 2nd guess his move, back it up, eat more of the shot clock.

Chandler still puts so much pressure on the opposing big to stay close to him. Its funny but the mavs tossing so many lobs up this year from all over the place has to be on the highlight films of every team. They HAVE to worry about it, first time every in a decade anyone has had to worry about the mavs' center.

I'm going to be disappointed If Donnie does not go all out to resign Chandler during the off season. Chandler had made a big difference to our defensive unit this season.
