Yep, the ideas aren't pouring out because there really aren't any other options... We're all-in on DeAndre Jordan at this point.
I can't believe how quickly the FA market dried up before the big names even made their decisions -- we're not even 48 hours into this thing and it's almost over.

And the problem we have no trade pieces other than trade exceptions and that won't go far.
We really seem to be at the DJ/Matthews or bust point.
The latter should motivate Cuban to start thinking about rebuilding from scratch.
Can't just throw a bunch of scraps around Dirk and expect anything at this point.

Who is the best Center realistically left and available either FA or trade?

Did anyone understand that everybody would sing this quickly? Do we know exactly why? Last year wasn't like this, right?
I would be interested in reading a post-free agency period article on what the hell people think happened.

Lebron hasn't signed yet, has he? Isn't his agent named Maverick?

I think the quick signing is because neither LMA or DJ based on their destinations changes the landscape of things. Last year Melo and Bron and Bosh all could have potentially left the East and made it to the west to stacked teams. This year it's just 2 guys who for the most part just may move from one playoff contender to the other.

Usually the dominos fall after the big fish sign.
Not sure what the hurry was but DJ is really hosing this thing up for everyone and unfortunately he was probably our biggest target.
We simply can't catch a break.
I'm just wondering now what kind of pieces we can put around DJ even if he does sign and Matthews doesn't or even vise versa.

Probably Hibbert, as you suggested. Have RoLo, Monroe, and O'Quinn finalized any deals yet? The Memphis backup might be available.

I should have added Robin Lopez and perhaps you might also add Larry Sanders or Emeka Okafor. Not sure if either of those last two are ever going to play another minute of NBA ball.

Monroe committed to the Bucks. O'Quinn is available as a RF. Koufos has been the Grizz back up.

So we need:
Starting Center
Starting PG
Starting SG
Backup PF
Backup Center
Backup SF
Looks to me we will be rebuilding no matter how you look at it.

Yeah I was thinking O'Quinn and Memphis' backup as probably two guys still left and they are probably going to be expensive.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Amare back.....but it would be a waste of time if you don't think you can contend.

I've heard nothing about Tobias Harris. Isn't he a 3/4 type? I guess with Parsons that kind of kills any interest in him but man I love his potential.

I can't remember a free agency where this much action happened so quickly.

Imagine if Donald Sterling was still the owner of the Clippers. How that drama would affect Deandre's decision vs joining the Mavs.
Now also making me remember how Cuban was against kicking Sterling out of the league/forcing a sale. Wonder if he had some forethought on this offseason...
Sounds terrible, but makes you think.

I can't feel optimistic at all about getting DJ after the constant whiffs recruiting big FA's going on 3-4 years now. Let's see if Parsons is capable of working his magic like he supposedly did with Dwight Howard.

According to someone on Fish's site, Ramona Shelburne was just on ESPN LA radio, and said she thinks Deandre is going to Dallas. She said that his relationship with Paul is as bad as its being reported.

Fish's site...Or she's trying to do the reverse jinx. Think she's trying to get LA all stirred up?

Paul has the worse little man syndrome in the league. You can clearly see it. Blake doesn't say anything because he has another type of ego like Paul does. That's why they mesh from their dumb egos. But I have always noticed Jordan to be different.

You have an interesting theory that two guys with big egos are somehow more likely to get along.

If Jordan ends up coming here, it's almost a carbon copy of how she covered Howard's departure from the Lakers... Now I just need Jordan to finish making me look good.

Jordan will never be the #1 Option and the face of the franchise with Paul and Griffin on board. Time to come home DeAndre.

@ArashMarkazi: Clippers' meeting with DeAndre Jordan is about to begin. It will be his last meeting. I'm hearing Jordan could make a decision by tomorrow.
