This win you can give to Carlisle for sure. Goes from one of the worst coaching games of his Mavs career to one of his best.

The margin is razor-thin with our beat-up roster, but he's still able to squeeze maximum production out of these guys.

Please. Many of us were begging for him to play these guy together all game while he insisted on forcing Zaza and giving up runs and leads. I'm just happy he finally saw the light. Question is, will he be blind and in the dark again for game 3? More Mejri and Anderson equals better chance of success. It's not that hard to see.

He just beat the obviously better than us OKC Thunder with an injury ridden mediocre at best team. Try to celebrate a little.

I wonder what's the status on JJ now. He can have it better playing off the bench game 3.

Mavs can win this series easily with JJ Barea. We are missing some offense but our defense has been legit. JJ will correct the offense part. Plus we are getting David Lee back for game 3 who is way better than Powell offensively. Exciting times coming for our mavs.
It's just nice to get a playoff win finally!!!

@jared_thigpen: So just to be clear, NBA stats are crediting Justin Anderson with a game-saving block on Durant's layup at the very end. Huge play. #Huge
Man, do I miss that guy...

Whatever happened to Jthig?
Anderson has the potential to be a superstar on defense if he keeps that up.

Twitter... Which sucks because great conversation like this gets lost there:
@jared_thigpen: Curious to see how many more minutes Rick can squeeze out of Salah. See people complaining about 20 from Zaza but not sure Sala can do 32+

Well If RC was saving Salah for the second half he deserves credit. He did end up playing 28mins. In the first half though he played just 10mins. I think if he can play 18 in one half he could play 12-14 in the other but Idk. It's also possible he was saving him for when Kanter was on the floor as much as possible as he kills us more than Adams. It's an interesting topic though.

Both teams leading rebounders were the point guards. Westbrook with 14 and Felton with 11.

One thing to note:
Cuban petitioned for years for better ref review. The NBA improved its review system. Tonight a review won us the game and changed the call on the floor.

I noticed midway through the 4th quarter RC pulled Mejri for a few minutes as if he was going to rest him for the stretch. I was wondering if we'd see him again and kudos to Rick for sticking with him down the stretch.
I have a feeling Mejri is Rick's choice the rest of this series in crunch time.
Glad to finally see that trust set in and the same with Anderson.

Glad someone already mentioned the moving screen just before Matthews' layup. Came here to point out that there were TWO, not one, illegal screens. Egregious ones at that. Last one, moustached 70's man straight up leaned shoulder first into Matthews.
No matter. Let's win these next two and make them panic!
