Kidd can't make adjustments. If he tells his guys to play and the other team adjusts, then we just do the exact same thing over and over for the exact same result. It's like watching an alcoholic imaging that this time will be different even though it's always the same.

Kidd is a problem. Not because he cant convince these assholes to play hard, but he has consistently had piss poor rotations. Roster management -F.

THJ and DP are dogshit and they put their stamp on this. THJ another cru ial turnover for no reason aside from laziness and poor decision. He and Powell are bumbling uncoordinated idiots. I couldnt gove a criple crab a crutch about some 3s he hits when hes not in a slump.

I said it before the game that we have veen losing bad after great wins. Low effort lazy games. You can always tell how the game is going to go when you see our approach to defending PnR and fighting through screens.

The effort is 100% on the players. Not Kidd, who is still a jagoff. This team doesnt fight on defense and its the most basic plays they dont defend.

We lose to these teams because they think they're too good to try hard defensively. 7 or 8 times we have done this.
Its a roster problem, a coach problem and effort provlem.

We can do better. The real question is if he doesn't want to go to the 22-14 Kings who just went to the playoffs, vs us who have a worse record, missed even the play-in last year, and next to a superstar who pouts and yells at teammates.

It'd be foolish to trade any assets at all for a rental.

I really don't care if Siakam doesn't resign here. At least with him, Lively, Luka and Kyrie you actually have legit starting roster that could win playoff games.

He was but thr biggest indicstor to me is how we fight through screens and defend PnR. That is not a finess aspect of the game. Its grimey and hard. This teams thinks they are too good to grind against lesser teams on paper. Look at the schedule and results, They've done it 7 or 8 times this deason.

This was my ultimate question. If he "doesnt view kings as a fit" then why would he view the mavs as a fit. Kings are much better set up for a consistent long future of being good. The mavs are in constant flux with the roster because theyre always trying to patch holes every season.

(unless its strictly money related, but idk how he would know Kings wont max him already)
