On a night when he passed Reggie Miller, Dirk's jumper looked oh so sweet.

Small sample size versus an entire season, but it's a great start.

He was in a short slump about two weeks ago, but it's nice to see that he has found back into his groove.

You're touting Dirk's TS% as the "highest of his career" when he's only played 12 games out of an 82-game season... Don't be a dick just because I gave your comment some context.

Clearly we should just shutdown the forum until the season is over. Any discussion until then is irrelevant.

You don't discuss anything - you bloviate, constantly.
Weren't you banned? Why are you back?

In the absence of context, I just wanted to reaffirm my hetero man crush on Dirk. He exemplifies all that is right about the game.
I'm going to try and be back more - work is busy, I miss you guys.

Dirk is currently 4th in the NBA in FT% at 94.4%. He's second among guys likely to qualify by season's end (only behind CP3 at 94.8%).

We all know Dirk is 15th in all-time scoring. Fun fact...he's also 15th all-time in defensive rebounds.

Dirk only 9 pts out of 14th place. A decent game tonight will bump him up yet another spot. Going to be fun to watch him keep climbing the rungs.

Dirk needs to finish this season strong. ~23ppg would be great. Honestly Ellis is so good, he could easily push Dirk to 25ppg. It all depends on Dirk and how many FG-A he wants.

Dirk should have passed KG last season. Oh well this was inevitable even though KG's been in the league a couple years longer. Dirk's always scored at a higher clip.

After last night (11-27-2013)
KG will now be in the rear view mirror the rest of the season.
Nowitzki is at 25,383 points. Garnett only scored 4 points in a loss to Lakers and has 25,368

Yeah, but KG fans talk about Dirk as if he rebounds like Shawn Bradley.
Plus, Dirk and KG's playoff rebounding averages are fairly close.

There is a 3000 def rebound difference between kg and dirk. That's far apart IMO. And that's just def rebounds

Uh...and K.G. has played more games...
K.G. is an Elite rebounder and better than Dirk at that aspect, no doubt. But the gap between the two when it comes to defensive rebounding isn't huge.
Dirk has a career DRB% of 25% in the playoffs. K.G.'s is 27%.
