Like I said in another thread, I really don't understand why New Orleans isn't better than this. On paper, I think they're title contenders. And yet they're the seventh seed getting their asses handed to them in the first round.

He can be a pretty streaky shooter, but he is building more consistency with it. He's got more confidence and a better shooting touch compared to maybe a year or two ago. If he's rolling he'll get fancy and try even tougher shots and go with the heat check and it could work out. But if he gets cold, he'll keep going.

Less than 20 seconds on the clock and some spare launches a 3.
Classless.

Are the serious? Title contenders? They are starting Sean freaking Marks at center! Their only other healthy big is Hilton Armstrong! That roster is an absolute joke! I wasn't surprised one bit they got steam rolled.

Rondo not getting thrown out for what just happened is absolutely ludicrous.
Combine that with him not getting a flagrant at the end of last game and the Bulls have a legitimate conspiracy gripe.
It's absolutely beyond comprehension that he didn't get thrown out tonight.

Also add when he tripped Hinrich last game, and when he hip checked Rose on that late-game turnover the game before.
I can't stand this thug.

Dude, I said "on paper." That means a healthy Chandler obviously. Joke? Paul, West, Chandler, Peja, Posey... Looks pretty solid to me. I guess I didn't factor in how old Peja is. After looking at nis numbers I can see his game has declined quite a bit.
But yes, I don't understand why they're not better than they are. Last year they most definitely did look like title contenders.

Well I mean a lot of it, as you said, the injuries. Even without them, Peja is an absolute shell of his former self. West is overrated. Posey is nice, but he's a role player. Chandler can't score unless CP3 sets him up. That team just isn't very good. Factor in injuries...yikes.

Speaking of which, I'm still curious if we can land Chandler. It's obvious they're wanting to move him, but I think they're reluctant to send him to the same division.

3rd overtime. boston has a lot of fouls on their guys (5 on pierce, 5 on Davis, 4 on Rondo)
chicago has miller at 5 - i dont think boston can pull this one out with just ray allen left of the starters

Woww the Cs/ Bulls series is just great to watch. IMO one of the best ever.
This could be an upset, I havent seen it yet, but the elbow that Rondo threw will probably get him suspended and they will have to go with Marbury in game 7. Thats something huh?? Maybe Marbury can redeem himself, which would be another great story of this series, but I just dont see it. The Celtics are in TROUBLE

I'm going to be PISSED if Rondo isn't suspended. I'm glad he wasn't tossed so it's still a possibility for game 7. He's a thug through and through.

Garnett should just play. I bet if that was Dirk sidelined he would be playing.
The offseason is coming either way just play it all out.

The Celtics @ Bulls game tonight was amazing. It was really fun to watch. I don't think I have ever been emotionally invested in any non-Mavs game except for that one I just watched. I hate Boston. I used to admire KG. But since he won that ring, he has been a complete jerk. I hate PP. I've never liked the guy. And now, I am beginning to dislike Rondo. How many dirty fouls/plays has Rondo done in this series? Ugh.
Great win for the Bulls!!!

Looks like the other WC teams left are Rockets, Lakers and Nuggets. Just 2 years ago we'd be drooling all over playing any of those 3 teams. But they've all improved alot.
Lakers: +Gasol
Nuggets: +Billups
Rockets: +Artest -McGrady

So utterly disappointed that the Rockets streak of absolute futility has ended.

They got the best draw in the playoffs. Portland was the easiest out this year. They overachieved. Good, young talented team but anyone in the West would have taken them out, home court or not. Dallas would have swept them.

Just got back from the Rockets game. I was bored out of mind. Rockets were impressive, but like you said, they only played Portland. They'll be done in 5 games or less against the Lakers.
