So we got someone who is a shooter, but probably going to have a hard time extending his range to the 3 point line.
And it looks like he loves singing more than playing basketball.

At least we got someone that can do something. If he can really shoot, he'll probably have an NBA career of some sort. It's all you can expect from a pick like this.
Having said that, I've very, very frustrated that this is all we did. If we spend the MLE on Diop this will be the biggest disapointment of an offseason in quite a while.

He is a shooter, but being tabbed as an inconsistent one. One that will have issues with the NBA 3-point range.

Funny 1310 the ticket advertising about the Millionairs Club and Gentlemans club right now. Not a bad deal. Would most definately see more action there than we've seen here tonight!

Ben & Skin said that the Mavericks seriously have to consider tearing down this team. The Mavericks only have 8 players signed so far for next season and if they are forced to play their 51st pick, then that's a sign to rebuild. They say to ultimate step towards that is trading Dirk.

We can get Longar Longar via free agency at the minimum! Who needs Diop. And we get to keep the MLE. The Genius of Donnie proves itself once more.

Look, they are not going to be "forced" to play Shan Foster. We're going to have a full roster by the time the season starts. That's silly.

Ben and Skin are losing it. I give them credit for being huge MFFL's like us, but they are letting their emotions get the best of them aren't they?

If picks were being traded around somewhat easily, and there was a plan to get in the first round...how good was the plan?

Somehow I think we'll be able to fill the roster with enough players that we won't be "forced" to play a rookie second round pick.

What happened to the Heat deals that were discussed? In the end, they just took the consensus no. 2 whom they could have traded for almost anything.

The Portland Trail Blazers (via the New Orleans Hornets) selected Darrell Arthur with the 27th pick in the NBA Draft - and may have traded him to Houston.

Nice deal for the Spurs.
*Update*
Sports 620 KTAR's John Gambadoro reports the Phoenix Suns have traded No. 48 Malik Hairston, their 2009 second round draft choice and cash considerations to the San Antonio Spurs for the Spurs second round pick, Goran Dragic, the 45th selection in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Dragic is a point guard from Slovenia.

Some stuff to know
* One of the elite draftees smokes more herb than both Cheech and Chong.
* Twenty percent of those invited to Orlando's pre-draft camp have children. No, not by the same woman!
