Wonder if that crosses Goran off the list. Definitely meh, but some Mavs fans love him. Hope for the best I guess if he even makes the roster.

Ha! A few people here were prodding those tires.
I love his defense. We could maybe hide his offense with Luka

So are we going to sign Goran when we realize we cannot make a move to bring John Wall here?

Who's bitching? I'd assume a lot of people saw him play for France

His new shtick is that everyone is bitching if they disagree.
I just go by what Frank did in the NBA which isn't much so far.

So, in your mind...right in the middle there...it is the same a bitching? I could imagine you might be hard to be around.

I think Bey is just a 3/4 tweener without a jumper. He’s not quite quick/ skilled enough to play on the perimeter like Siakam, and not quite big/strong enough to bang inside. It’s unfortunate, but it happens.

I think he’s just not good at basketball. Decent athlete. But he’s already 25 or something. Just not much there. I agree with your assessment.

Let's hope we actually have access to watching the games this season. Though with the new 8344098458 quadrillion TV deal on the horizon...I doubt it.

There's a shockingly low amount of uproar about the TV situation.

There are a zillion other things to watch. I still have the fire stick, but I'd be perfectly happy to subscribe to something reasonable. If league pass promised me no blackouts, then I'd do it in a heartbeat. The whole thing is entirely too convoluted, but hey, monies.

I’d do league pass as well if I didn’t have to deal with blackouts. I went the fire stick route this year. I couldn’t mess with another year of watching games on my iPad.

I did league pass but the blackout of national TV games sucked. How is the firestick working for everyone?

No more LP for me. Fire stick or bust, but now since I'm out of state, it shouldn't be too bad.

I like the Frank pickup but hope Kidd can sort out the rotations quickly so we have time to gel before playoffs. We have a plethora of moving pieces at backup guard, wing, and center. Ideally we would at least make an effort to develop Terry and Green.
My preferred 10-man rotation:
Luka - Brunson
THJ - Brown
DFS - Green
Bullock - Kleber
Porzingis - WCS
It's unfortunate we are so reliant on perimeter scoring and STILL don't have a pick and roll partner for Luka (in an offseason where Richaun Holmes signed for less than $12M a year). Hopefully Bruson, THJ, and Porzingis are able to generate enough offense to make up for it.

Why can't KP run a pick and roll with Luka? It's unbelievable that this is an issue on this team. Kidd need only figure that out, and he'll be coach of the year.

Remember when Gerssan Rosas was going to fix the Mavs?
Wolves just fired him after he did nothing for the Wolves but run them into the ground

He apparently had a relationship with someone in house. He woulda been a perfect fit in that regard had he stayed.

First-Ever NBA-Drafted Player from India Signs with AEW
-- Former Dallas Mavericks Center Satnam Singh Begins Training at The Nightmare Factory --
September 23, 2021 – All Elite Wrestling (AEW) today announced the signing of Satnam Singh, an international phenom best known as the first-ever player from India to be drafted by the National Basketball Association. The 7’3” Singh was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2015, and now brings his natural athleticism, charisma and daunting stature to AEW.
Singh follows in the footsteps of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who squared off alongside Jade Cargill in a mixed tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on “AEW: Dynamite” in March. Singh will begin training at the world-class, Atlanta-based Nightmare Factory, run by QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes.
“While we’ve recently secured some of the hottest free agents on the planet, I’m also deeply committed to cultivating our own homegrown stars and the next generation of extraordinary professional wrestlers,” said Tony Khan, CEO, GM and Head of Creative of AEW. “In addition to Satnam’s commanding 7’3” stature, I was impressed with his high level of athleticism and charisma. He’s an exciting addition to our roster, and I’m looking forward to our fans getting to know Satnam’s personality and watching his development.”
In early August, AEW began broadcasting weekly episodes of “AEW: Dynamite” and “AEW: Rampage” on Eurosport India, joining more than 120 countries watching AEW worldwide on broadcast partners and via AEWPlus. The signing of Singh also comes at a momentous time for AEW, fresh off the wildly successful ALL OUT pay-per-view, its red-hot debut in the NYC market, and the lauded signings of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and Ruby Soho.
With two nights of programming on TNT, and substantial digital content available weekly, AEW continues to solidify its position as the fastest growing and hottest professional wrestling promotion. This week, AEW features four hours of programming on TNT from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, NY, starting with “AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam” on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. ET, and a special two-hour presentation of “AEW: Rampage” on Friday, Sept. 24, at 10 p.m. ET.

Breaking news from Cuban..
Brad Townsend: Cuban on @theeagledallas notes that Doncic and Porzingis have been “liking” one another’s social media posts, calls it a “telltale sign” that their relationship is fine. It’s also telling that Cuban has noticed them liking one another’s posts.

TMac saying KP wanted a trade after the playoffs. Glad Carlisle is gone so we wouldn't have to deal with that drama. Cuban wouldn't trade KP, and Carlisle wouldn't have used him differently. Woulda been a train wreck.
Kidd has ridiculous pressure on him though. Again, figure KP out, and all will be well.
