Default Playing Around -- Dal/Sea/Mil

Just a thought about some trade ideas. Of course Mark would have to take on some additional $$$.

Dallas trades Harris to Milwaukee for the #6 and SNT Boykins
Dallas then SNT KVH and #6 to Seattle for Ray Allen.
KVH does this because they are offering massive money for one year because he would have to be with 125% of Ray Allens $$$$.

Seattle gets the high draft pick and expiring contract they offered to Celtics for Allen.
Milwaukee gets DHarris as their point for the #6 and SNT backup PG.
Dallas gets RAllen and Boykins for DHarris.

Terry, Boykins, JJB
Allen, Stack, Bucknor, Ager
Howard, Pops, Sun Yue (at 34)
Dirk, (MLE - Mihm or Brown)
Damp, Diop, DJ

Not sure it helped the defense, but it looks like it could score with about anyone.

I don't think it will happen, but this scenario looks like it would match everyones expectations of what they would have to get if they gave.

The problem with trying to include S&T guys and draft picks in the same deal is that you can't sign anyone until after the draft.

You are correct, you would be really skirting the rules although I think they could make it work due to the parties involved. It would have to happen after the draft.

Now if Milwaukee drafted the exact player that Seattle really wanted, I could see it working after July 15th.

I still don't understand why Dallas would be trying to get the #6, and offer Harris, unless they really want Yi and believe he is the compliment to Dirk, or they have a place that they want to move that pick/player.

I don't believe Donnie at all........massive liar, and it suits him well in his job.

I don't think a rookie PG is the answer - heck Devin was a #5 pick and now you have lots of time invested in him.

Part of a bigger deal is the only reason I could see Dallas trading Harris to Mil for the 6th pick.

<edit>
Just another thought because of the parties involved.

dallas trades Harris to Mil and gets Yi, then drafts Sun at 34.
Then Dallas trades the rights to both these players and Terry to Nellie for JRich and Monta Ellis.

Nellie gets Terry, his point forward (Sun), and a 7' 3-point shooter (Yi). These two draft picks get to a city they might be comfortable in.
Dallas gets JRich, Ellis, and whatever they got from Mil for Harris.

NA --- but considering the people involved........????
