dallas/denver trade
"Teams are actively trying to pry big men Nene and Marcus Camby away from Denver, according to NBA sources.
Nene, who averaged 15 points and nearly eight rebounds per game against San Antonio in the playoffs, is not going anywhere.
But the Nuggets are patiently, calmly waiting for a trade partner to make an offer they cannot refuse for Camby."

No thanks. Martin might not play at all. Camby is better, no doubt about it, but not worth Damp and Terry along with taking on Martin's salary.

But not to lose Terry in the deal as well as taking on Martin's contract. Also, Camby is always injured. If we had him, he'd only play half the season with no guarantee he'd be able to play in the playoffs. The more I think about this, the more I hate the idea. If we're going to trade Terry we must get a player that will be healthy most of the year and have an impact.

Take Martin out and add Najera and a signed and traded Steve Blake.
Blake/Najera/Camby for Terry/Damp/Buck/filler

Blake is trash. Najera is nice, but not enough to do that trade. I think Buck still has a lot to show. Still don't like the trade at all.

It would be a nice trade, but... it could be possible?

Denver only makes that deal if Martin is part of it. Otherwise they want no piece of Damp or Terry. The whole reason Camby is on the block is because Denver is headed for luxury tax hell so they're looking to trim payroll. Taking Damp and Terry back doesn't do that, but if it meant getting KMart and his ridiculous contract off their team they'd consider it.

i would do it. Camby is the best player in the trade. He would matchup well with Amare Stoudmaire and Tim Duncan.

Maybe the most reasonable trade would be something based around Buck and Najera. The Nuggets have plenty of forwards, and they loved Buck. Dallas could use a Dirk backup, and they loved Najera. Makes some sense.

I agree, I would love to welcome back Najera. Nice energy player and a fan favorite who can play great D and plays with heart.

I read somewhere that Najera already elected to return to Denver.

True, but we all know Denver is pretty spontanious when it comes to there players. They aren't afraid to do the trades.
Although I see the Buckner/Najera trade not going down, but maybe sweeten it up with a possible pick.
