E3 kicks off tomorrow morning. Man I'm so PUMPED! Incase you don't know what E3(Electronic's Entertainment Expo) is, its the worlds largest Videogame expo. Playstation, PS2, X-Box, GameCube, Dreamcast, GameBoy Advance will all be in attendence. Company's will reveal all there upcoming games and other plans for the next 12 months. X-Box date and price revealed today. Nov 8th is the release date and it will retail for $299.

Yeah, don't know if I'll get it or not. Just watched the X-Box press conference and didn't see anything that impressive. Except Oddworld ofcorse. Gawd I want that game.

I'm a bit weary of Nintendo and their stupid kiddie games. It's funny how they tried to revitalize the N64 somewhat by releasing that Conkers Bad Fur Day game. But in the end it's just another one of those Donkey Kong/Banjo Kazooey kiddie games..except it has a porno theme [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Press conferences:

Sony: They had the best IMO. Showed off alot of great games like Metal Gear Solid 2, NBA Street, Silent Hill 2, Madden 2002(which looked stunning), and a few others. Alot of boring talk though.

X-Box: Had the second best showing IMO. That doesn't mean it was good though. The games, while looked good, didn't blow me away like I thought it would. Nothing here that the PS2 can't do.

GameCube: Was impessed with there conference. Games look GREAT but(your not going to like this DJ) where ALL rather kiddie. They showed a couple Mario games and another game called Pikmen. Like I said, Look really good but...

I saw the trailer for Duke Nukem Forever..looks pretty damn cool! Don't know if it's ever going to come out though, since it was supposed to be released for the pc about 2-3yrs ago!

Ya but games like that just don't play well on consoles. They're designed to be played using a mouse and keyboard after all. The PS2 version looks good graphically though. If it supports multiplayer/Internet play, then it'll do well.

man.. i was in a duke nukem tourney with 5 of mny friends like back in 6th grade.. noone of us won but it was at the convenntion center and it was pretty badass... also.. i used to OWN microsoft gaming zone on both AOE 1 and 2.
