Elon is not attached to the Mavs, but I'd trade him as owner for Cuban if the option was on the table and throw in a future first rnd pick. To answer your question, the only people who arent consistently embarrasing themselves are anonymous shit posters.

Well Mark Cuban isn't the owner anymore because he blew it all on Crypto.
Cuban is just a textbook narcissist.
I wouldn't take ANY business advice from him. And yet he spits it out on twitter left and right.

Right. Business advice or general workplace ethics.

Lively and Grant are both questionable tomorrow. Huge relief that Live will not miss many games

Hardy wiped his Instagram
Might not mean anything. PJ Washington did the same and then filled his socials with posts about Dallas so we were all sure he was coming instead of Gwill
Still interesting

Yeah he pruned some pics but left all his Mavs stuff. MavsFFL on insta had a post that made it look completely wiped.

PJ Washington reminds me of a worse version of Harrison Barnes. Kinda glad we didn't go that route.

My bigger thing is that we love to have 3-4 guys on the floor that are 6'7" and under and can't rebound to save their lives. We missed 6'7" and underwhelming rebounder PJ Washington but then inked Grant Williams who is also sub-par at rebounding and undersized to play the 4.
Between undersized PFs and no backup Cs of any import, it's no wonder we are failing at rebounding and defense.

PF/C combos in the playoffs
EAST
Celtics - 7'2" Porzingis, 6'8" Tatum
Bucks - 7'1" Lopez, 6'11" Giannis
76ers - 7'0" Embiid, 6'8" Batum
WEST
Wolves - 7'1" Embid, 7'0" KAT
Thunder - 7'1" Chet, 6'8" Giddey
Nuggets - 7'0" Jokic, 6'8" Gordon
And then there's the Mavs if Lively is healthy
7'1" Lively, 6'6" Williams or 6'6" DDJ
and if Lively is out
6'10" Powell, 6'6" Williams or 6'6" DDJ

I mean, same people with then Hardy IG news. At worst, this is just obvious posturing by the Mavs to prop him up in trades. He will get some legitimate burn and has been player better lately, just not enough to declare him as untouchable. As always, his health is the biggest question.

Yeah, but even if it's posturing, it makes no sense. You're not going to phonily prop up Green's value which likely isn't very high right now.

nothing about that blurb made me think that was current information. last year they were hesitant to include him. They probably feel different now.
Either way, I dont think putting his name out there is a good idea overall if youre trying to attract a trade.

Agreed, he is a captain of stealing shit, but sometimes it's harder to find the actual source.
I wonder if that's the same MFFL user on here?

No clue but most of those posts trigger a bunch of entry level casual Mav fans. Every thread ends up with insanely irrational takes in general and oh trade Maxi for Siakam and Lebron

Kings emerging as suitors for Siakam per Shams.
This is what happens when you don't include Josh Green in a trade.

Not saying it was on the table for Siakam, but I can?t believe the Mavs are basically making Josh fucking Green untouchable.

They?re not. Jesus.
The original quote was that they?d rebuffed some trades involving Josh and that it showed that they valued him. Those trades weren?t specified but very well could be the Ayton/Capela trades.

Lawson is beginning to make Green expendable imo and I'm not so sure B Williams won't make Hardy expendable too.
Lawson is the better fit and Williams has true PG skills.
Not saying they are better players, but both look like they could fill the roles vacated if Hardy and Green are used as trade pieces to address areas of greater need.

Not sure if we are putting all trade rumors in here? Feel like Hield gets brought up every season.
The Trade Deadline: ?I do know that Buddy Hield is on the block after he turned down extension numbers from Indiana in the fall. And I do know so far Indiana has pretty much rebuffed any teams interest in TJ McConnell.? (via @JakeLFischer )

Kyrie thinks Kuminga has all star potential. Would be happy if we got him.
Kuminga on the other hand has voiced exasperation at Kerr and has basically said that he doesn?t think he has a future in Golden State
I still think he goes to the warriors for Siakam but I wouldn?t mind kicking the tires on Kuminga for the right price. I?m more motivated to do it after hearing Kyrie comments

I'm lukewarm with Kuminga. I like the upside, but we already have young upside guys.
We. Need. Rebounding.

Kuminga is a much better rebounder. Averaging 20-7 vs Williams? 11-5 per 36. He?s still short for a PF at 6?7? but still taller than GWill.
But yeah, I?m not sure how we?d get him and I?m still convinced he?ll end the season either in Toronto or SF

I was commenting about Kuminga last year in March. I havent heard what Kai said about him, but hes a good athletic 2 way player. Its not even a close comparison between Gw and J kuminga

Looks like Toronto may be running out of suitors. This does fall in line with the "reports" that the Mavs won't trade Josh Green.
https://twitter.com/esidery/status/1743858896907714846
Reality is teams won't give up a ton of a assets when he'll be a FA this summer. Musai overplayed his hand.

If they don't have space? Depends on if the team is hard capped or not right?
I just think the reality is teams aren't giving up young, talented prospects on good contracts anymore. Not unless it's for a megastar or someone like Markannen.

I mean, we're seeing teams get who they want if it takes them to next level. I dont think the fact that Siakam wants max monies and is FA soon will be an issue if someone sees him as the step to contend. Idk if GS is Siakam away from contending. They may be considering next era soon and Siakam doesnt fit that, regardless if Kumknga is a part of that picture. I would have though JK would be a bigger part of the picture by now.

I think Toronto revealed their hand when Sacramento, who has a decent amount of assets, backed out so quickly. Musai thinks he is going to get a big pot for Siakam, but I just don't think that is going to happen. Deadlines make deals, but what Brooklyn got for Kyrie is what you're realistically looking at.

As others have said, I think Yurtseven, Stewart, or Plumlee would be huge additions.
We need a big that can grab rebounds. I just hope it happens sooner than later before Lively hurts himself for real.

Even though we won last night, I hope Kidd, Cuban, and Adelson all saw how pathetically small we were.
Gobert had something like 16 rebounds in the half and we were throwing 3-4 guys at him and he was still getting the boards.
It was honestly a miracle to walk out of there only -8 on the boards.

I'm concerned they'll view it in the opposite way.
They'll think they have a better chance to win with a smaller lineup and will do nothing by the deadline.

Well at least Kidd is utilizing the small lineups to do something on defense.
And you gotta use the players you have, but he refuses to play Holmes for unknown reasons.
