Is Stackhouse trying to lose this game for the Mavs?
Damn.

If we indeed have a "system," I doubt that it includes Jerry Stackhouse NOT feeding Dirk the ball in the post when he has position and a mismatch, and instead shooting an ill-advised pull-up jumper. Oh, and then throwing the ball away after he gets the offensive rebound.

I can't believe a 60 win team has a lineup out there with 3 undrafted guys, and we could easily put in more without a dropoff. Crazy, just crazy.

After that 1st quarter I was hoping that Dirk would go for 50 again but this seems to not be the case =(

Dirk still hadn't a single shot this quarter. I think Kobe would have killed himself (or his PG) right now

Pitiful execution in the 2nd quarter.
Dirk doesn't need to force shots, but when he's in the post he needs to turn and shoot it and not wait for the double **every** time.

If he really said that he should be called out. I cannot believe he would do that to Dirk....his teammate.

I think dirk really appreciates DA's competitiveness. A chest bump.

Watch the replay. Diogu was holding Dirk's shooting arm down with one hand while blocking the other. Dirk was fouled hard by two different guys there. Pathetic.

The one thing that really goes against jason is this. He doesn't get to the rack enough. Especially when his shot isn't falling.

Whoa I'm hoping for a furious second half where we show the warriors what they are. Nothing else then a mediocre team bombed away by the glory that is known as the mavs.

He really said it. He thinks Kobe should win MVP "because he scored 81." This, from the fine investigative reporting of Jim Gray.

Dirk needs to find his rythym again. He was 0-3 in the second quarter. (Of course 1 of those was that foul/block.)
2 shots in a quarter is pitiful. Especially when you were shooting so well in the first.

Can't shoot and doesn't support his teammates? What a package.

this is really bothering me. makes you wonder about the team's chemistry en route to the playoffs. dirk should score 60+ pts in the second half and shove it up stackhouse's a**

Stackhouse could've atleast said Nash lol. This guy says Kobe of all people lol. And I actually like Kobe but you say him over Dirk? Wow. I missed the comments so i'm just hoping you guys misheard what Stack said lol.
Warriors have given the Mavs hell for years. Not sure what it is but I do enjoy these games. Its always fun to watch. Ellis and Diogu are looking real good out there. Never heard of Ellis. Didn't even know he was straight out of high school.

I would love to have given the follow up question to Stack after his response...
"So why not Dirk?"

YOu know this sounds like old news to me? I thought I heard stack say this a few months ago? I may be wrong, but I sure thought that's when I first heard it.
Was it a recent interview?

Stack might be a little slow. Maybe he forgot about the "MVP" chants at the AAC.
