Man, check this out. Sounds like Ro Blackman was going to make a comeback with the Mavs but a leg injury prevented it from happening.

thanks for the link
that would have been sweet to have ro on the playoff roster hitting a three or two as the mavs took the jazz in 4 games.....

Damn it! Ro was always my favorite player - and a clutch performer. I would have loved to see him get 10-12 minutes a game during the playoffs.

I liked Ro too, but he has been away from the game TOOOOO long to come back.

James Donaldson? Isn't he the guy that ranks #50 all time in rebounds at 7492? Didn't he lead the NBA in shooting percentage in 1985 at .637? I might have heard of him.

Dude. He's the best center who has ever worn a Mavs uniform (assuming that Tarpley was a power forward).

Yeah, Evilmav would argue Bill Wenington was the best .

We need to bring back all the 'ol fellas for a retro lineup of Ro, Tony Dumas, Roy Tarpley, Scott Brooks and Detlef Schremph for our normal blowout games of Golden State and Vancouver
