Mavs w/four straight wins (Tied w/MIL & MIN for longest active win streak in
@NBA), with a showdown tonight vs Utah. Both teams 10-2 in their last 12. Mavs looking to make amends for 4 and 5 pt losses in SLC.

The 2 games w/Utah have been decidedly different. Christmas game was a foul fest w/55 fouls called/72FTA. The game ten days ago saw just 35 fouls/30 FTA. Mavs were 30-35 FT in 1st game 8-8 in 2nd (1-1 in 2nd half).
The officials tonight: James Capers, Michael Smith & Aaron Smith

A win tonight would put the Mavericks 15 games over 500 for the first time since the 2015 season when they went 50-32.

It's bonkers that the Mavs

Started +5
Then dropped games until they were -2
And are now +14 again

If we didn't have that stretch where we dropped 7 games in the standings, we'd be second place and 1 game behind the Suns for best in the west.

Hard to believe that the Mavs are 4-15 over the last 19 games against Utah. Time for them to change that trajectory!
