The good:

some teams will be shopping

Bulls are terrible and will shift gears making Drummond available

Pistons have like 12 big men and something has to change after 27 losses and Celtics tonight. They have to make 1-2 of these guys available: Duran, Wiseman, Stewart, Bagley, Knox

Hawks may reconsider too at 12-18. Rumors are Murray to Lakers. If so, then Capela may become available.

Blazers would trade Ayton. Raptors, Hornets, and Wiz need to do something

The bad:
All the teams in the NBA are bidding. Bigs are really valuable and teams like the Knicks lost Robinson and may have more assets (Knicks have this FRP of ours)

Bigs will be available, but not for a bargain

No doubt Nico will be looking for big guys. I just hate that the deadline is so far from now. Could be too little too late.

Mavs have a rough January ahead. Almost all games against teams .500 or better.

Actually, the Bulls are 8-4 in December, so I'm not really sure they are doing a fire sale that everyone thinks. And I'm not sure how you get Drummond after that monster game he just had and Vuc out for 10 days. Can't see just getting Drummond for a second and cap space anymore.

Yeah, too many teams are fighting for a play-in spot vs those who are selling. Feels like another amazing Luka season wasted unless they can pull something off.

I wonder if the Hawks fans will ever admit they took the wrong guy. Oh wait they got Cam Reddish also so there is that.

I dont fully understand why teams wait until tdl to make deals. Especially if you know what you need.

Because teams need to feel out their rosters and there are more buyers than sellers this year.

Still not fully. We have felt out our roster for the last few years. Its meh. We still have similar deficiencies. Many other teams know what they need to do as well.
