I don't care about getting lost on the outside of the paint lol. Run a zone if you need to. Gafford is hands down probably our best center. Not giving him minutes hurts more than anything. I still feel he should start over Lively. Maxi has been absent this game. Him and THJ aren't helping us close the gap.

I'm convinced they still have perimeter defensive issues that will get them exposed in the playoffs.

They can rebound a little better now because they got bigger but teams can still attack them in so many ways on the perimeter

That would for sure be the last game I ever go to then. Last two games I went to Luka didn't play. I've been trying to get my friend to see him in person. Really is insanely disappointing when he doesn't play.

Hopefully it being on ABC will encourage him to play.

This Celtics crowd can eat a dick, hope they get bounced shy of the finals yet again.

Tatum over Luka is laughable. It's pretty clear who the best player is on the floor.

Then again, it's pretty clear this Mavs roster is missing one more piece. I think it's a wing/guard combo that can lock down defend. Trade deadline got them close and I still believe in a run, but this team has a perimeter defense and coaching problem.

Guards cant guard anybody. Point blank period. Our coaches are not good enough. Our guards and wings habitually sag in toward the paint and either cant recover to shooters or get beat on back door cuts.

It sucks but Kai and Luka isn't ideal. Kai too small for switches and Luka not wuick enough to stay in front. Thj...lol.

THJ is in a special place by himself regarding defense. Trying to find new ways to bitch about him is still beating a dead horse. Yet, Kidd cant get enough of him.

Gafford not getting minutes is laughable. Its pointing the finger at him instead of the ability to actually scheme and produce a strategy. These fn dipshits traded for him and we have Maxi once again logging big ineffective minutes.

Josh Green can not afford to be getting bullied by everyone he guards in AND only produce 2 point in 28 mins.

Nobody actually hates Powell, Maxi, or THJ. They just aren't used properly and get away with playing poorly no matter what. They finally got the memo with Powell at least.

It just sets a bad precedent when Kidd said he would put Gafford in a position to succeed. Bull. Shit.

Has nothing to do with losing this game either. Yes, we lose anyway. I would rather lose knowing we got 8-10 rebounds from Gafford vs hoping Maxi hits 1 three pointer. If Maxi's mobility helped us win, then I'd be all for it. It doesn't.

Agreed with all. To add: It was shocking to watch a clip yesterday of Dirks final season / Lukas first season and Powell was the starter. And they JUST benched him in 2024. Amazing stuff.

I get the Kleber/ PJ minutes and it should be a thing at times.

But you cannot have maxi out there with 4 fucking guards going that small. Going that damn small isn?t making any difference on those 3s out there. In theory sure. Maxi isn?t the guy for that.

Like just trade Gafford if he?s only getting 5 mpg. What?s the fn point, especially after Cuban went on Stein and said now we can have a true center for 48 minutes.
