If Kobe pleads guilty
and cops a plea bargain to avoid jail time (ala Marv Albert), does he get suspended from the NBA for a while?

If Kobe pleads guilty
He would have to plead guilty to a lesser charge because the 3rd degree felony charge against him carries a minimum sentence of 4 years in prison.
If the charges are lowered to assualt or something like that he could get off with probation. With all the info being reported about the girl and her credibility it's quite possible that it could be lowered. The reported (rumor) physical evidence looks very strongh though.
