i'm assuming that loss did the exact same thing to the Mavs players... and i'm assuming they want this game just as much as we do.
miami will not come out AS hungry because of game 3, and we will take this game by 10. dirk goes for 35.

Really good stat here! And after all, Miami is probably the 3rd best team Dallas has played in the playoffs.

The game three loss was tough to handle. I intentionally woke my wife up just so that I could complain to someone...and even then, I didn't fall asleep until almost 1:15am. The next day was even worse, as I'm sure all of you can imagine.
Anyways, here's to a new day, and a new game, and a tough Mavs team who sticks to their gameplan, executes down the stretch, and effectively erases all lingering thoughts of that terrible game with a hard-fought win tonight in Cry-ami.
Mavs - 103
Sh-eet - 94

I still don't see it. Miami has been galvanized by that victory and I really see them tying this series up tonight. In Game 3, Miami had over 20 Turnovers(TWENTY!) and yeah, some of them were a result of Great Dallas 'D' but other times it was stupid silly turnovers like Shaq outletting the ball down the court to no one, Wade jumping up to pass it to....no one...Miami with 3 straight 3-sec-violations in a row....and so forth.
I see Miami cutting down on the stupid mistakes tonight and winning this one by 4 in the end. Mia 96 Dal 92

Walker did have a
-12 +/- for game 3
-7 +/- for game 2 (when he was playing so well)
-2 +/- for game 1
The guy hasnt helped an entire game more than he's hindered it in this series.

in otherwords...statistics confirm what we see on the court in real-time.

The danger tonight is the Diesel--Wade will be slowed by his injury and better defense on the part of the Mavs.
The Mavs win by exactly the margin Dirk outscores Shaq, which coincidentally will also equal the number of Walker's missed shots:
Thirteen.

...and Dallas had 15 TOs of their own, poor defensive play down the stretch and missing open shots. Does anyone really think the Mavs will lay a 4th quarter egg two games in a row? I highly doubt it.
Mavs - WIN
Miami - wonders how it slipped away

Game 4. It's very simple.....
Limit Turnovers
Take the ball to the hoop.
Thats it.
They keep playing their defensive game, and theyre good. They can hang 115 on these clowns if theyd limit their turnovers and get to the rim/free throw line. Gotta keep the pace up, while at the same time taking care of the ball. Watch out for Devin Harris....

My prediction: Wade gets to the foul line 482643298 times and O'Neal hands out 934828923 elbows.

Absolutely stupid. Teams don't let other teams win at this level. Mavs want to finish this out and I bet they do it in 5.

Drexler says the Miami Heat are giving away the series? What? I think the Mavs gave away game one. Why do they say Payton has the heart of a champion? He hasn't won anything. Till he wins in the Finals, Payton should not be attached to the word champion.
Seems like the analysts are calling it like Miami is giving it away.

well, one of my students went out to the airport to see the Mavs off to Miami. he was able to talk to almost every player. there were only 4 people there including him. why didn't I think of that? anyway, my student told Terry to bring home the trophy. Terry replied, "Oh, you can count on that!" so there's no way we lost tonight. just ain't happening!
Mavs - a lot
Heat - just not enough
Let's get this thing started!

Jesh. All this Media Bias is REALLY starting to bug me. How about some Mavs Love once in a while ya know?
I've watched Two pre-game shows and both of them centered around Mr. Wade like he is the next coming of christ.

lol, same here it's always about Wade. Once the Mavs win the championship, the media will probably fall in love with them and then they'll get more publicity.

The media just can't help it. They only have one memory cell that works at a time. The same thing happened after dirks 50..he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
The same thing happened when jerry/jason went off...their attention span is just very, very small.
If Shaq outscores damp tonight HE will be the story.

Yeah, that's true. That's why I'm thinking if the Mavs win the championship, they'll get some recognition....at least for a year.

Haha there's an awesome article in SI about Mark Cuban. The title, "Is the World Ready for Mark Cuban NBA Champ?"
