Hahaha...
Likely right!
But if that team is:
Bynum
Odom
Lewis
Howard
Harris
It gets close to the playoffs. A good chemistry and more development from Bynum/Howard/Harris and they could get in to the dance.

Kobe also has a no trade clause if I remember correctly and he keeps saying he wants to be a contender so that narrows it down to 5 or 6 teams.
I think Phoenix offers Marion, Barbosa, #24, ATL pick and an expiring contract with Kurt Thomas.
Or they, *gasp* offer an aged Steve Nash + others.

Kobe is the best player in the NBA imo. I've always thought so. He is better than a lot of people just with his left hand.
However, don't be surprised if you see a Terry/Howard/1st round type deal for the guy.

I agree with Bell... I just don't see it happening. Not for him. This guy is THE best player in the league. A jump shooter and a guy that shouldn't shoot as much as he does with, basically, a 2nd round pick ain't gonna get it done.

I don't think they would offer that much, but geez... Imagine that team. Their bench would be bare as could be but look at that lineup.
NASH
BRYANT
BELL
DIAW
AMARE
Well... Wow.
I think Bell might have to get a sucker punch or two in at practice for that choke.

LA:
Barbosa
MLE
Odom
Marion
Bynum
Good team if you get good talent with the MLE.

Kobe on a team like the Suns is just scary. Nash would definitely get his ring.

The Bulls definitely have a LOT of pieces. Man, as if the Jordan comparisons weren't around Kobe now.

We live in a world where you can trade Allen Iverson for Andre Miller and Joe Smith. Just remember that.

This is the BEST PLAYER in the NBA.

Suns commit suicide trading Amare. In order to beat the Spurs they need to go bigger and getting rid of Amare for a shooting guard would cripple them.
Plus lose the best player they have off the bench.

I think ATL could package JJ/#3 and/or #11... that trumps just about anything CHI or PHX can put together!

Kobe is a cry baby. He is one of the greatest or talentest players to ever play nba basketball. His talent is light years ahead of most that play the game. He has talent like a Micheal Jordan.
The bad, he is a spoiled brat. He want's to be from the hood and pretends he is and was raised with rich white kids in Europe. He gets over here and wants to live the life of riley but pretends he is off the streets.
He kicks Shaq off his team because he was jealous and wanted to be better than Jordan and wanted to win a title by himself. 1 on 5. It just can't be done and not even Jordan could do that.
It looks like he has finally shit in his own nest this time. Jerry West is great but the Lakers have give him everything and he bascially ran the team with Phil Jackson being Kobes ast coach. What now? Look what is out today in the media?
He has pulled a Gasol except worse. How can you now say i was in a dream and did not say those things and i am fine now and feel we will win next year? Alot of the nba is getting to be a soap oprea and the pay is so high and the respect and loyality is so low, it has began to look like crybaby school because some can't live on 10 to 15 a million a year. Like Spreewell, he couldn't live on his mealsey 5 millon or whatever it was a year.
Kobe, Gasol, Garnett, Jermaine O'Neil are such great players and this Stephen Jackson is good and tough but he whines, fights, complains like a Spreewell. This Jackson guy was a big part for GS and now will him and Barnes be back? These teams "MUST" get something good and i mean good to great for Kobe, Gasol, Garnett, O'Neil. Three of those are great and Gasol can become great. He is already really good.
Watch this off season because now has Kobe thrown his name in the hat box to be traded? Goodbye Lakers if so unless, some these superstars are traded for each other. If i was Garnett, i would demand a trade because that is sad for his talent to rot away in MN. He is not getting younger and has alot of mins logged. He is still great.
This off season was going to be something, now since Kobe has thrown another one of his little fits, see where he goes. He once mentioned he wanted to go to Mem and play for West but West i think is leaving Mem. Randolph is another. Some of these guys needs a babysitter with them at all times to keep them happy but talented? Very.

Re-read it. Marion, Barbosa, 1st round picks, one unprotected and an expiring contract with KT.

[/b]Uhhhh, no he didn't. This whole situation is surrounded by the fact that kobe is being accused of this but he had no say in the trading of shaq, and guess who believes him? Shaq.[/b]

Kobe is still wanting to be traded, he is currently talking with the front office to determine what his future is with the lakers. For sure the "insider" is going to be fired if they want kobe to return as well as some explanation as to what the teams future is.

Word is Mitch Upchuck or whatever his name is gonna be on the outs and Lakers are gonna work like hell to get JO in to appease Kobe.

does that mean he cried?

The trade I hear is JO for Bynum and Odom and I have to ask how is that much of an upgrade? Yea you bring in an all star but its not like Odom is a slouch. If he were in the East he'd be an all star as well and he's a lot more versatile then O'Neal. Things could get interesting though if they could some how get Rashard or Artest but aside from that I don't see adding O'Neal for Bynum and Odom as much of an upgrade.

I like Wilbon but he's focused that West can come in and make miracles. I just don't see how West is the answer to the Lakers problems. Its not like Kupchik has had anything to work with.

I don't think the Lakers would trade both Odom and Bynum unless they could get back Tinsley with O'Neal.
If they're not going to get Tinsley, they'll probably be offering one of Odom, Bynum + crap
