West (33) was the only Maverick to play over 27 minutes tonight - Carlisle keeping everyone fresh, but active.

Jason Kidd is doubtful for tomorrow's game against the Bulls. It's likely to be a scheduled game of rest for him.

Only Wright with big balls?
Carter 19pts, 9 rebs, 3as, steal, block. Best in ,,+/-". Again player of the game.

Just the kind of game I wanted...basically a glorified scrimmage. Glad to see guys who we need to get better, like Carter and Wright showing some consistency.

Bullets:
Game:- Mavs beat the Warriors 110.22 to 99.62 PP100, grabbed a season-high 59.77% of the available rebounds
- The rebound margin of +18.02 PP100 is also a new season-high
- The game ends a streak of five consecutive games, in which the Mavs were unable to hold opponents under 100 PP100
- Dallas continues their hot streak of free throw shooting with 25-for-26 (96.15%), marking the fourth game in a row hitting 90+%
- Only for the fifth time this season, a team missed at max one FT while attempting 25+
- Meanwhile their hot streak from beyond the arc ended. After hitting at least 40+% in 6 of the last 7, they went 3-for-19 (15.79%)
- Mavs outscore the Warriors by +31.79 PP100 in the Paint and off FTs, the most this season for a single game
- While the Mavs were red-hot from the line, the Warriors went 11-for-21 which ended in a season-high margin of +43.77% for Dallas
- Dallas scored their 2nd-highest total of Points in the Paint (77.36 PP100) at home this season
- Mavs set a season-high at home in AND1 opportunities P100 (4.24). In three of the last 4 at home, they attempted at least three
- Warriors attempted 22.26 FTA P100, the most for an opp at home since March, 13th.
- Warriors tie season-high for opp at home in AST/TOV-ratio at 2.30 and Mavs post a season-worst +8.48 TOV P100 margin at home
Lineups:- The starting unit was outscored by -23.39 PP100 on 148.15 Def, therefore played only 7.42 minutes, allowed 61.54% shooting
- Bench units were +31.43 PP100 on 88.39 Def, scored 82.50 of 119.82 in the Paint or from the line.
- Best unit was JET-West-Carter-Marion-Ian (+17.73, 130.03 Off)
- Only backcourt that didn't work was starting. Best: Terrois (+29.84 PP100) and Westois (+63.29), Mavericks outscored Warriors 26-16 with these combinations in limited minutes on good D
- C-Watch: Lineups with Mahinmi worked best: +26.35 PP100, 86.24 D, +35.93 Points in the Paint P100, 55.56% TRB
- C-Watch: As usual, lineups with Wood rebounded better (73.08%). Despite good offensive outing, lineups with Wright got outscored (-13.32) on putrid D (128.72)
- With Vince & Dirk playing the forward duo, Mavs outscored Warriors 24-10 (+63.90 PP100) on 45.65 Def
- Unadj +/- to Vince (+57.38). Effs with him: 110.25 Off - 74.74 Def. Wood, Marion, Kidd, Wright come up short

- West, Marion, Haywood solid/good. Surprisingly the three players not contributing to the win were Dirk, Terry, Kidd. Roddy inconspicuous.
- Best rebounder was Wood (26.9 %), Carter team-best 75.9% TS outside C-Pos, Roddy 25.0% AST%
- Wright & Marion went 11-for-11 at the rim

Thanks for the heads up...
Probably a good idea, but I like it better when he's playing... I think Carlisle might be doing this as much for Roddy as he is for Kidd, smart move all the way around... I'd imagine Roddy will get a lot of minutes in Atlanta as well...
As for this game, I thought it was pretty good really... I mean they pretty much coasted the whole game, and if their three's had been falling even a little, it would have been a blowout... It's a good sign to play mediocre and still win with relative ease... The Mavs seemed to have a lot of games like that last season, but not very many this season...
