Default Randy Moss Traded to....

The Oakland Raiders.

Quote:
The Vikings and Oakland Raiders have agreed to a trade that will send Vikings receiver Randy Moss to the Raiders in exchange for the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, linebacker Napoleon Harris and a low-round draft pick this year, a person with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday.

I can't believe Oakland gave all of that up. I guarantee that most teams in the league that wanted Moss wouldn't even give up more than a 2nd rounder for him. You get rid of your trash and recieve a talented linebacker and a 7th overall pick? Vikings won't miss Moss for long when they draft their future wide reciever with that 7th overall.

Moss, Porter and the fast rising Ronald Curry will wreak havoc in the AFC West.

I'm pretty sure that Oakland wasn't the only team willing to give a 1st and a player for Moss.

Finally Kerry Collins has someone to throw to. Watch out AFC. It's about to get ugly.

What team do you think? Just off of needs. I didn't even think the Raiders would.

It's not that much considering Moss can change a game all by himself unlike most wr's. And he is one of the best receivers in the game and the best deep threat. His "behavior problems" were blown way out of proportion like when he pretended to moon the crowd.

Randy Moss is a 6'5 wide receiver who will catch anything thrown near him...you're crazy if you think a number of teams wouldn't trade a first...a huge wide out that has done nothing but have 20 TD and 1000+ seasons? come on

When's the last time that he had a 20 TD season? Oh yeah, that's right...never.

I'm not denying Moss' talent but it was clear the Vikings were trying to get rid of him and I assumed teams would trade knowing that. Raiders were bidding against themselves.

That's not to say that they wouldn't have given up a #1 for T.O., just that San Fran was desperate to move him before the NFL had a chance to clear up any ambiguity as far as his F.A. status. For what it’s worth, the NFL Network reported that the Raven offered a #1, but they’re pick wasn’t as high.
