Prediction game: how long will it take Wade
How long will it take Wade to sissy out and ask for a trade? Closest without going over wins.

Even though it would feel like selling your soul, I would be all over that if Wade was on the trading block.
Hypothetically, what would happen if we made the Finals with Wade? Just think, the ref reaches down to blow his whistle on the guy that Wade just tackled and then realizes that it would mean a championship for the Mavs. Does time just stop? Does David Stern sitting in his NBA boardroom hit the button that postpones the Finals indefinitely so that Wade doesn't have to lose but the Mavs don't have to win?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to FINtastic again.

the heat will tank the season, try to get beasly or probably rose in the draft. Rose would especially be scary with them. then they'll have cap space to go after some other big to pair up with haslem and with marion at the 3 you suddenly have a Finals contender all over again. I am not sure Riley didn't just orchestrate all of this, getting one more ring out of the veterans and then blowing it up for one year to rebuild immediately (think Spurs in 97).

I don't think Wade asks for a trade this season. Him and Marion could be a nice 1-2 punch in the east. If they continue to lose and get a nice prospect like Beasley or Rose or Jordan in the draft they could look pretty good next season.
Memphis Commercial said one trade that could happen is Mike Miller for Ricky Davis. Of course Marion could opt out after this season too.

Wade won't be traded. He's the cornerstone for their future.

Is Marion planning on staying in Miami? Thats the real question. If not I think Wade might just wait until he's an FA and go elsewhere, because even if he has a #1 draft pick to play with it it probably won't be enough.

Well if Marion doesn't re-sign, MIA is going to have a ton of cap space with only 7 guys signed beyond this season. They could easily rebuild by signing one or two of the good-to-great FA's that'll be available this offseason like:
Arenas
Andres Nocioni
Diop
Antawn Jamison
Kurt Thomas
Bonzi Wells
Jeff Foster if he declines to exercise his player option
Joe Smith
etc.
Wade might stick around if MIA signs a couple of those guys.

132 games before he starts floating rumors with reporters that he is unhappy, and that the team either needs to make some moves fast or risk his demanding a trade... And 208 games before he reaches the tipping point of his chronic injury history entering the 'Anfernee Hardaway Zone' ...
