Interesting deal for both sides. I guess new Coach Collins is gonna get what he wants over the GM and get Favors instead of Turner since they're thinner on the front-line now.

Plus it moves the 76ers under the luxury tax. Outgoing 12.2. Incoming close to 9 million. Yep, Favors might be the direction they're going. I'm sure the Nets had Favors penciled in. But Turner isn't so bad to play at the 2 guard spot next to Devin. Gives them a good sized backcourt and both with skills to play either spot.

The Nets actually win off of this too ... Even though they were probably getting Favors, getting Turner may be even better. Most of the Free Agents linked with the Nets are big men (Stoudemire, Boozer, Bosh, etc.).

as a King's fan, I have a hard time considering Hawes a big man.

I think the Sixers still intend to draft Turner but have put themselves in a situation where they can move around some and draft a big man like Cousins instead while picking up an additional pick. We'll have to wait until draft night to see how it all plays out.
