Agreed murph....It's almost looking like he's sort of being worked into a leadership role with the second unit.

On another side note, Orlando won tonight. Check out this stat line from the rook D. Howard
in 39 minutes he shot 6-11 for 12 points, had 10 boards, 2 assist, 3 steals, and 4 blocks..whew

Dang, a 7 footer playing the point center. Buries a pull-up 3. What a freak.

RE:Mavs @ New Orleans Gameday thread
It's difficult to believe that Howard could block 4 shots in any game. Surely it must have mostly been guards that simply got in too deep.

Why? Dunks happen. Bradley's playing solid ball. Just because someone dunks over him when he's trying to hustle back after helping someone else out does not mean that he needs to come out of the game. I suppose he could have just sat there and watched instead of trying to get back.

I notice that dirk has finally decided to wear a mouthpiece, probably got damn tired of having that front tooth knocked out.

19pt lead in the 4th. Stats show the Mavs dominating on offense and defense...does it look like that in the game, or just by the stats?

Pretty impressive. Second night of a back to back at the other teams home opener. However Baron Davis is the new stevie franchise, dumb as a rock.

Understandable. I'd like to see the guy play. We might get our wish, but I think Booth will see PT before DJ. Booth has got to be a frustrated vet with getting no PT. However, Bradley is simply a better player.

Fin helped the Mavs to a huge lead. Nellie is wanting to limit his minutes whenever possible and tonight is the perfect chance. Harris lost PT to Terry tonight.

I say he passes on the break he just never looks up but if he can find the open man without looking up then that's fine by me. He sure as hell fooled me on that play. I thought he was trying to get away from Baron but it seems as if he had the play planned from the get go.

Damp is a big strong man. Nice to have a big guy who can roll to the basket and finish without going to a dipsy-doodle.
