Default DAL/SEA/PORT

one of those trades that will never happen but just fun to think about . . .

Dallas trades: SF Eduardo Najera (3.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.7 minutes)
Â* PG Tony Delk (8.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.8 apg in 20.3 minutes)
Â* SF Antawn Jamison (14.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.2 apg in 29.2 minutes)
Â* SF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (14.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.2 apg in 29.2 minutes)
Dallas receives: SF Rasheed Wallace (16.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 3.1 apg in 40.0 minutes)
Â* SG Brent Barry (12.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 5.1 apg in 33.9 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +2.0 ppg, -1.7 rpg, and +5.7 apg.

Portland trades: SF Rasheed Wallace (16.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 3.1 apg in 40.0 minutes)
Â* C Dale Davis (6.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.3 apg in 30.4 minutes)
Â* PG Jeff McInnis (11.8 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.8 apg in 29.8 minutes)
Portland receives: PG Tony Delk (8.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.8 apg in 14 games)
Â* SF Antawn Jamison (14.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.2 apg in 19 games)
Â* SF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (14.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.2 apg in 19 games)
Â* C Jerome James (4.7 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 11 games)
Â* C Vitaly Potapenko (2.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.8 apg in 8 games)
Change in team outlook: -4.9 ppg, -2.4 rpg, and -5.9 apg.

Seattle trades: C Jerome James (4.7 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.5 apg in 13.2 minutes)
Â* SG Brent Barry (12.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 5.1 apg in 33.9 minutes)
Â* C Vitaly Potapenko (2.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.8 apg in 12.8 minutes)
Seattle receives: SF Eduardo Najera (3.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 0.5 apg in 19 games)
Â* C Dale Davis (6.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.3 apg in 16 games)
Â* PG Jeff McInnis (11.8 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.8 apg in 16 games)
Change in team outlook: +2.9 ppg, +4.1 rpg, and +0.2 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Why Seattle Does It:

They are soft in the middle and need a more traditional point guard. Dale Davis and Jeff McGinnis helps to fill those voids.

Seattle's Starting Lineup

PG Jeff McGinnis
SG Ray Allen
SF Rashard Lewis
PF Vladimir Radmanovic
C Dale Davis

Why Portland Does It:

Needs to change the image of their team but also add talent. Delk is a superb citizen and so is Jamison. Davis was getting old anyway. They will now build their team around Jamison/Randolph.

PG Damon Stoudamire
SG Derek Anderson
SF Antawn Jamison
PF Zach Randolph
C Jerome James

Why Dallas Does it:

Best and Delk are simply not producing at the backup point guard spot. Brent Barry is simply one of my favorite, most underrated players in the league, who play both point and shooting guard. He can pass, shoot, and with great efficiency, which is what we need from the backup spot unlike Best and Delk. Rasheed's not a traditional center, but the Mavs are not a traditional team. Regardless, his presence will move Dirk back to PF spot, which is more important.

PG Steve Nash Brent Barry
SG Michael Finley Brent Barry/Josh Howard
SF Antoine Walker Josh Howard
PF Dirk Nowitzki Danny Fortson
C Rasheed Wallace Shawn Bradley

CB I don't see this one happening, but if Seattle and Portland will OK it, I would jump on it with both feet.

That trade is so beautiful that it makes me cry. Too bad nobody but the Mavs would do it.

I'm with Jamisonite on this one...Wallace is a moron and a disgrace to this league. I do not have any wish to have him on this team.

Rasheed has already openly stated that he does not like white people. do you realy think that he would fit in here?? also give jamison more TIME. this kid is a superb player and he will figure out his role soon enough. cuban if you ever even check this board than pleas listen to me and hold on to jamison.
