I was not sure where to post this, please take a look in case you have missed this. It puts things in this life in the right order!! Left Texas
Now this is a real class act!!!
I once said that some people take their football and the fighting for their alma mater way too serious in the "big" picture of life, a game should be a game, with good sports, no hard feelings and being an adult. This was sent to me by a friend, and sort of points that out.
Just prior to the start of the Air Force-BYU football game, Sept. 22, 2009, this video was broadcast in the BYU stadium in Provo , Utah .
Later, the USAF Academy Superintendent, Lt Gen Gould, showed this clip to the faculty and staff. He told everyone that BYU ran it minutes before the kickoff at the game. He was clearly moved by it, as were those who watched it. BYU is a class act.
BYU VS. AIR FORCE

Thanks for that video, left Texas. Very cool. Both my sister and her husband attended the air force academy (she played volleyball and he played football), and are now serving in active duty. Neither one have been deployed as of yet, but my sister is expecting it soon. Should be interesting, as she has a 6-month old baby!

My gratitude to your sister and her husband for serving our country. They will both be in my prayers, that God my keep them safe. I am not sure how I feel about the military seperating your daughter and her child, what a sacrifice she is making. I know you have to be one proud (edit) uncle!!

Not a grandpa yet. It's my sister.
But I am proud of her just the same.

Thought this was really cool.

Imagine the money they save by not shooting on location (and being able to control all the sound, people, etc.)
And it is seamless! I never would have noticed on a lot of those shots.
Must be hard to act in that situation, though.

Friday in Boston a garden-variety, morning radio show punching bag was suspended from a crane above the goalpost of a local football field for New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski to take aim.
WAAF-FM’s ‘Spaz’ was dangled 100 feet above ground between the uprights as Gotkowski booted kicks in his direction. Inexplicably bad camera work diminishes what could’ve been priceless video, but you still get a pretty good picture of what happened. (How did the Pats, of all teams, not get this on tape?)
The guy gets hit right in the nuts too.
