Official Sunday Night Football Thread: Washington @ Dallas
Both teams looking for their first victory. Last game before the BYE week for Dallas.
Quote:
Drew Bledsoe's lackluster performance against the Jaguars created some ripples, but Bill Parcells has remained confident in his 14th-year veteran quarterback. Bledsoe's 45.8 passer rating is currently the third-worst in the NFC and his two second-half interceptions came at inopportune times. Bledsoe started strong last season, leading the NFC in vote-getters among quarterbacks once Pro Bowl voting opened. The Cowboys need Bledsoe to perform to a higher level if this offense is to score enough points to win games.
The Cowboys removed several players from their injury list this past week, including left tackle Flozell Adams (calf), kicker Mike Vanderjagt (groin) and inside linebacker Bradie James (groin). Wide receiver Jamaica Rector (ankle) has been the lone player listed on the injury report this week, questionable with a sprained ankle. He did practice all week, but Parcells was unsure of what his game-day status would be. http://www.dallascowboys.com/news.cf...1F81938EE4EA2A

If we lose this game going into the bye week, I will be unable to listen to the radio for two weeks.
Must win, for my sanity alone.

Vandercrap is going tonight. Don't know yet if he kicks off.
Worried about the rain shutting down our potent passing attack.
We are going to kick the crap out of them.

T.O.'s presence makes everyone on the offense just that much better. He's uncoverable one on one, you have to double him and that leaves Glenn, Crayton, Witten and Fasano open...

Man what a drag to be jumping to block the ball, the qback comes in and sort of jumps into your helmet and you get a personal foul.

We may be leading this now but bledsoe still doesn't look good to me. Damn TO has rock hands the last two attempts. That one to glen wasn't close either.

I cannot believe the cowboys have three kickers on the team. Unbelievable.

the announcers seemed to think they were.. he has dropped a lot of balls, and even though he was covered and it wouldnt have been a first down, the ball hit him in the hands.

I have more complaints about bledsoe. he's thrown at least one ball to both owens and glenn which caused them to get the smack layed down on them. quarterbacks are supposed to be more careful when throwing in the open field like that.

TO probably was shocked that the ball actually hit in him in the hands and not the cornerback's. Seems Glenn and Whitten are also having this same problem.

Lots of ugly going on...what the hell is going on? Doesn't it kind of feel inevitable that they will tie this up? Also, 100 yard return? Really? Come on.

Nah, I think this one becomes a blowout before it becomes tied. The Cowboys are getting ready to plunge the dagger.

A buddy is on the official hating Drew Bledsoe wagon. Mainly because he says he's just not very accurate. Drew hasn't done much this game to change my mind.
But the drops are atrocious.
Dang...hit him in stride.

Are you kidding? Bledsoe looks dang fine. No picks, or anything even close. Just a LOT of dropped passes. Not to mention TO's work there in the end zone.
Our guys are afraid of Shawn Taylor or something...

Gameplan:
Aggressive (SCORE!) Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative HALFTIME Conservative Conservative Conservative 2 minute warning (Losing?) Aggressive
Bledsoe cannot play aggressive without F'in it up.
