It's insane that Spurs are 19-8 without Kawhi. Hopefully 20-8 after tonight.,

A good system can overcome injuries.

Mavs - 100
Otters with Spurs - 99

I can forgive a lot of Powell issues, but his defense blows. Glad the Mavs are hitting shots though. I guess.

Does Cleveland have elite level defense in him?

Gotta love Cleveland's defense and athleticism but he kinda sucks on offense right now. He's a rookie though so maybe he can figure it out eventually.

Oh, he is rawer than rawjock mcrawsalot on a raw day...but his spot minutes on defense make a difference.

He's one of those guys that you know annoys the hell out of the other team and fanbase and you gotta love him for it. I bet non-Mavs fans HATE him though

Yeah, it may be a bit obscure but he reminds me of Scot Pollard. Not particularly good, clearly a backup/role player but he makes use of his time on the floor most nights either from hustle or just ... well ... getting under someone's skin.

Theory: Since they don't want to tank publicly, they are using that new high-tech locker room to spread anesthetics through the ventilation. Not much, but enough that the team comes out flat in the 3rd.
Or we just suck and can't be decent for 48.
Decide what's more likely yourself.

Death, taxes, and the Mavs crapping the bed in the 3rd quarter. It never fails. Helps the tank though.

Statistically that's actually our best lineup so it makes sense.

So we comfortably beat the Spurs on Kawhi's return night? I see... this team is so weird.

This team is weird. With the overall talent and some of the lineups Rick throws out there, there is no way in hell this team should be beating teams like the Spurs, or hanging with some really good teams for any length of time. This team should be right there with the Bulls as far as their record.

That guy is really fun to watch. If he can improve on his 3 point shot the Mavs have found them a gem.

I wonder what the Mavs loss margin is. There seem to be in majority of games, and man the spurs look even older than the Mavs.

I think we have to really give props to Rick. It may not be good for the tank, but he somehow got our roster without any talent into a position to actually be a top defensive team. In the last few games, we've been the best team in the league in offensive PPG and third opponent offensive TS%
