I thought the team hung on quite well considering just how poorly they played. They got within 4 points early in the 4th quarter.

I think this is the key stat:

MAVERICKS PACERS
ASSISTS 15 38

On a solid, regular night, only Luka has that many assists. They were trying out new things by keeping the ball less in Luka's hands. I thought that much was obvious.
