Memorial Day Plans
Anyone have fun plans?
We might do the Austin thing, and play Barton Creek while we're there. At the moment I'm kinda sleepy, so I'd love to just to stay home and relax, read, write, golf, swim and grill all weekend. Either way, it's going to be a nice few days.

RE: Memorial Day Plans
I will be playing with my children all weekend.
I plan on playing until I can't stand to play anymore. Until the very thought of playing makes me want to puke....... and then I will proceed to play even more. First one that passes out from playing too much loses.

U2,
I might infer from your post that either you:
a) love to play with your kids, OR
b) hate to play with your kids and employ sarcasm to make the point further, OR
c) don't take this thread seriously.

Thanks to MLK day, we get to work.
Why we can't observe both is beyond me.

Bagging groceries from 6 am - 2 pm.
Softball at 3.
I guess grocery stores like to take advantages of their employees' breaks from school as well... Don't worry Doc, I'll be working too.

Hmmmm.... I thought it was evident that the answer was A. But I guess not.
Yeah, the kids make it easier to get up in the mornings and also increase the anticipation of the 5 O'clock quiting time at work.
They are pretty much my motivation for breathing.

RE: Memorial Day Plans
I plan to distill my first batch of moonshine corn whiskey over this Saturday. Hopefully I'll be able to produce three liters worth from the mash that I've had fermenting over the last couple of days, and hopefully nobody will end up going blind after sampling the fruits of my newly constructed fractioning still...

Nice. I am planning to sleep a little first, and then work my way through my little list of leisurely activities - sleeping periodically as the day(s) goes by. I can't wait. I can already taste the margarittas & Tacate. Home sweet home.
