Dallas faces a familiar foe (Rockets) but without their stars
Out
KP - COVId - out
Luka - ankle - doubtful
Boban - COVID - out
Thomas - COVId - out
WCS - no desire to play basketball - out
Garuba - COVId - out
Sendun - ankle - out
Rockets lost eight in a row before beating Wizards.

Think I was somewhere earlier that it would be Sweeney.

Can we get rid of the defensive 3 second violation already? Such a dumb rule.

DFS driving and dish under the rim to a cutting Josh green for a dunk?
Carlisle would be beside himself

Dallas has so many guys rn but I really hope Frank can get his minutes back. He should be running the point off the bench.

Can't believe I'm going to say this but Brunson although not a better passer then Luka seems to take care of the ball much better than Luka.
You don't see as many silly turnovers because of lazy passes with him.

I think both him and DFS have been coached up to drive and dish more.
In years past I believe both under RC would be stuck in a corner and not asked to do much else on offene.
Kidd has done an amazing job with several guys helping them to expand on their role offensively beyond just jacking up 3's and I can't say enough about the buy in on defense he has somehow instilled into this roster.

You know, the real reason we are playing better is the B squad just finally showing up. Pretty much it.

NBA.com:
“Brunson, Kleber both score 31 in rout vs Rockets”
Brunson actually had 15. Kleber had 8.
Both were +31 though

Fun game to watch. Green was great. Hardaway and Bullock continuing to play better. Moses Brown was almost comically bad. Had almost consecutive offensive and defensive goal tends, both utterly unnecessary. Missed many dunks, missed fts, dropped passes, moving screens, bad fouls. He must be frustrating to coach.
