GDT: Mavs vs Bulls.. Can we stop the losing streak against Chicago?
A rare early game against the team who stopped Miami's win streak. All I will say is, make good shots. Mavs need to push it high tempo offensively if Wright is about to start.

The GDT rules have to be explained... but Mayo will play:
Quote:
MRI showed a mild sprain of the AC joint for OJ Mayo, per Rick Carlisle. He's expected to play.

I think I'd prefer to not have a hobbled OJ out there taking up space, but hopefully he will prove me wrong.

Just come out and play all you have, with energy and effort.
If that is not enough, ok...

Thibodeau said Noah, Belinelli are out vs. Mavs.

Good that Noah is out. Bellinelli doesn't scare me.
Concerning the GDT: I thought the rules are clear... if you lose another one starts. As long as the winning streak is active, no other user is allowed to interrupt the mojo.

Mayo is just simply a nice role player. Where is his aggression?

Amazing how much Dirk opens up the floor. The main reason that alley-oop to Wright worked was Boozer sticking to Dirk outside the three-point line.

I'd say a little more than that. But as long as we pay him as such what's the problem.

Mavs wouldn't be awesome but they would be a 6th seed or so if they had a competent guard who could run offense.
If Collison doesn't have his one man fast break, he is so useless.

Personally i would play through Dirk... but RC may sub him out now as he is hot. He knows when to take a hot player out this year!

Yeah I think we shouldn't keep either pg on this team. We need a new starter and a new back up next year.

You know Derek Harper wasn't a great player but he recognizes to get the ball to the Big German. I wish Collison would be able to see that.
Of course Harper didn't play for himself and personally I think that is what half the players on the Mavs do. Play for themselves. But when you sign 1 year deals... what do you expect?

That's something I don't understand... and probably never will.

the defense in the past several minutes has given me a headache; if not for dirk being absolutely on fire, we'd be getting creamed.

Did you forget Dirk is 34 years old and looks like he's about to pass out whenever Carlisle takes him out for a breather? I'd love to play dirk 48 minutes a night but he probably couldn't even run the court much less score for the 4th.

is there another team whose superstar player would only have 8 FGA in a half shooting 100%?

If dirk can go 20/20, I'd say they might pull it out.
3rd quarter is where the mavs lose a lot of games this year. Let's see how this one goes

No, I did not forget that. However, Carlisle should try to manage those stints better.

Mike James if f'n trash again tonight.
Is it really so hard to find a PG that can shoot, pass, dribble, or create? at least even one of those?
