Exactly. I read your next sentence and I still have no idea why anyone would believe the Kings are toying with the Mavs.

Well, you see, I am not watching the game. So, maybe that will help to explain why. I only see 7 shot attempts each for their 2 best players. Is that because our defense is so stifling?

....not because they are toying with the Mavs. That's the least likely of explanations.

Nothing in particular. But when he gets excited, it's infectious.

I always enjoy a game called by Followill. He has a sort of honest excitement that I find refreshing.

In 26 minutes, Henderson did a whole lot of nothing.

Wow, Damp with a 15 and 15 game. I know it's preseason, but when was the last time we had a game like that from our center?

The Dump Truck put the Kings garbage in the back and hauled it to the landfill. Another job well done.
(Madape, if this is what "sucks" look like, then I want him to suck every night.)

RE:Mavs v. Kings
I remember once I was listening to Followill with my roomate, and he got me SO exited about something - I don't remember what - but it either turned out to be nothing or something actually bad. It was ridiculous.. Followill apologized afterward so it was alright... I remember brad davis trying to calm him down telling him what actually was going on. It was kind of funny..

I see there will be more competition for the starting PG spot than I expected....
Howard should be our starting SF for the whole season.
Well done Dampier! Keep it up.

RE:Mavs v. Kings
Well Madape is wrong. Damp is no dump. He had a magnificent block, then Dirk rewarded him on the offensive end for a huge dunk. Harris is....well read my name. With our injuries, it may be Harris, Terry, Howard, Dirk, Damp as the starters. I like that line-up. GO MAVSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSss!!!

Some need to tap the breaks just a bit...yes, it was a nice win, but it was just one pre season game.

if we start harris, how are we going keep terry, stackhouse, and howard happy on the bench? I hope Nellie goes with his best players instead of just trying to appease every one on the team that wants playing time.

RE:Mavs v. Kings
We wont start harris... but he will certainly be get a lot of minutes while Daniels is out becasue Terry will likely move over to the SG position for about 10-15 minutes a game while Harris plays PG, on top of the regular 15 minutes that he would get as backup.
Harris has gone a long way in this preseaon to prove that he is the future piont gaurd of this team, but for this season (at least the first half), JET Terry is the starter.

RE: Mavs v. Kings
Man, what a game, best preseason game I have seen all year. I actually liked the Kings announcers too, they gave us tons of props. Dirk, Damp, Devin, and Josh all played very good games. Devin did this against Bibby and Bobby too, watch out!

Yeah, and so far Harris and Howard are our best guards in preseason.
