Thomas is a little short for center, but no shorter than what we got and he's a better shot blocker than our guys his height or less. Doleac has the size to play center.

But the main thing is we get players you are willing to be roleplayers and don't need to dominate the ball like walker. That's what we need. And I'd rather have Thomas defensively at the 4 than Walker. Sure I'd rather have a true 5 so Dirk doesn't have to play there, but Nellie probably wouldn't play him. Doleac would be that 5, but again Nellie wouldn't play him. KVH would be much more willing to be a roleplayer than Walker and the other two are just that essentially.

You can continue to play Dirk at 5 with Thomas at the 4. Doleac is not for his defense, so wouldn't we be right back where we started with him at the 5, except I guess you would have Dirk at the 4 when he was in?

EDIT: BTW, I don't see the trade unless you just want to make a trade.

Kurt Thomas could get away with playing Center in the LEASTERN CONFERENCE but not here in the west.
