I know it's only a few summer league games and Jay Williams is playing slightly hurt, but Wagner is playing HUGE, while Williams is not showing anything spectacular. Wagner has already dropped 35 and 28 points in his last SPL games. Here's their performance in the SPL so far(3 games for Wagner and 2 for Williams) :

PPG Avg:Wagner-22.7 Williams-13.5

FG%:Wagner-53% Williams-46%

3pt%:Wagner-45% Williams-50%

Assists avg:Wagner-2.67 Williams-2.5

Steals avg:Wagner-1 Williams-1.5

Turnover avg:Wagner-1.67 Williams-5

I put out these stats only as a conversational piece and not as an absolute prediction on how they will perform in the NBA. But is anyone a little suprised in these 2 player's performance so far? Anyone think Wagner will do better in the NBA than Williams?

My concern for Williams is his size. He is listed at 6"2, but from what I understand he may not even be 6'0. In todays NBA that makes it more difficult for a PG.

I've also been a bit concerned about that but I think he'll be fine in the long run. I think both will be good NBA guards.
