It's funny how Jerry would fire people left and right and now he is falsely loyal to Romo and Garrett.
Romo was going to get hurt whether it was now or later in the season. It was a given. Fans just can't get excited about a team when an integral part will just be hurt leaving your team screwed.

See I'm not on the "Dak the saviour" train just yet, but it is a wake up call that the team absolutely needs to plan for life after Romo and really hasn't yet. Dak having a solid preseason was pure luck.

If Jimmy Johnson was head coach, Terrance Williams would be cut as soon as he stepped into the locker room.

I wish they would cut him, really no excuse for something so dumb. At least bench him for Butler and let him know he needs to bust his ass to get his spot back. Also, Dez getting just 4-5 targets is absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure some could be Dak, but as the coach or coordinator, you have to call something to get the ball in his hands. Idc if it's a quick bubble screen, a pick play, a quick slant, put him in the slot. Really don't care but that can't happen. Didn't count them every play or anything but I saw a lot of defensive looks with 7 man fronts. So us not being able to run on 7 man fronts is a little concerning. Then again when the playcalling is literally the same trash as we saw last year with Weeden and Cassle it's not hard to imagine. 45 pass attempts and I'd guess 2 or 3 traveled further than 15 yards in the air. Extremely disappointed, was one of those games thats hard to get over because for sooooo many reasons you feel you lost more than they won.

not the way I want to see us play. Horrible decision on Williams part. How can you not get the ball to Dez more? He is a difference maker. Way too conservative play calling.

The Cowboys just aren't very good as has been the case for some time now.
The loyalty to Garrett is unbelievably unfounded.

Yeah, the best offensive line in football doesn't mean much if you can't play defense worth crap. Cowboys defense is pretty terrible thus far.
But I guess a win is a win. Imagine how awful this team would be if they didn't have a miracle in Prescott.

Dak's first TD throw going to Dez is the only way the Football Gods would let it go down.

I wasn't sure why we kept Elliott in the game when we were trying to run down the clock...
Impressed with Dak's play - he's poised and played very well.
Unfortunately lack of pass rush is going to be our doom unless reinforcements make a big difference. Brian frigging Hoyer picked us apart and we didn't touch him.
Glad we kept Leary - if Collins is out for any length of time I don't think we drop off too much there. Need Smith back but Green did pretty decent for today i suppose. Not sure how much of a challenge the bear's defense was to him - he'll have tougher match ups i'm sure if Smith is out much longer.

Total QBR for players starting all 3 games-
1. Dak - 87.2
2. Rodgers 82.0
3. Roflberger 76.3
4. Stafford 76.1
5. Rivers 74.9
It's way early, but he really is impressive. He(and the rest of the offense) will get a bigger test next week though.

I feel like the Cowboys are like 3-4 plays from either being 4-0... or being 1-3 lol. So I guess I can't complain... the defense sure has moments where it looks like it can't stop a cold. Then it tightens up in big moments to keep us alive.

Yeah the defense is atrocious for the most part. Good news is that they have most of everything else so this summer there is no excuse but to focus solely on the defense.

Claiborne just made up for that idiotic hold in a big way. Great play.

Nothing much Prescott could do about that other than maybe trying to keep the ball and just take the tackle.
Bengals are desperate though so they'll try anything.

Not to pile on the guy but... oh the hell with it, pile on... Twill couldda fell on that fumble instead tries to pick it up and run with it. Ball is on the gound just fall on it seriously. It always seems to be Twill this year.

Jerry is gonna mess this season up by forcing Romo back into the starter spot, isn't he?
