What are YOU doing to ensure this playoff run continues?
We've got the power of Chuck. We've got GDT mojo. We've got PGT mojo. We've got Budapest Mav skipping games live and watching them on recording. We've got fluid skipping class and probably failing out of college.
But what else are you all doing to keep the good times rolling? Lucky hat? Watching every game from the same chair/couch? Pre-game ritualistic sacrifice? It's all good stuff. Post and let us know.
Here's what I'm doing (for today, and probably again soon):

Wearing a white shirt that hasn't been washed in months, since a chocolate cookie fell on it and left a mark with an eerie resemblance to the Mavs logo. Sure it smells, but it is a sign....

Dirk finally getting a ring > My college education
Also, I pulled out my Kidd jersey (undefeated so far in every big game I've brought it out for). Do you guys think I should wear it game 3, which will obviously be the hardest game so far... or save it for extra mojo in a potential game 5?

Also, I'll thank you all for not pointing out the rampant lack of professionalism in my wearing a novelty Mavs tie to work on a Wednesday.

It's a new rule to try and bring increased legitimacy to our enterprise.

I'm sure you look much more professional than 95% of the rest of us on this board.
As for me, I'm continuing the ritual I always use when the game is being broadcast on two stations simultaneously. I start with the local feed, but if things go poorly I switch to national and keep that going until something sticks. The local guys have brought home both of the wins so far.

I donated $$$ to the "El Jimador Tequila Bar" outside of section 330 last night. I felt pretty good about that contribution.

I've been to a total of 6 live mav games and never seen a lost in person. I am getting 2nd round tickets for my friend and I because he is going to UT this semester so we gotta do it.
I went to game 1 and the mavs won I'm sure it was because I was there

Holy crap, I have that exact same tie. Did you get it several years ago in some firesale of sports ties (maybe on Amazon)? I bought 3 so that I could have some for gifts, but people rejected my offer.
I'll have to dust it off and wear it tomorrow.

I missed the first two games, so i should quit the next ones. But that is not a good idea. I think the idea with the beard is a good one, so you gotta fear the GD

Yep, I bought this one and like 5 other styles from that guy who was going out of business. They were all $1, I think. This is the only one I consider remotely wearable, though. It's at least made of 100% silk. The others look like cheap polyester.

I did the same thing, and ended up with four ties. I haven't worn one yet, but soon may be the day!

Right before 4/20?? Sacrilege!
If you were in Austin, they'd probably stone you for a sin of that magnitude (although I don't think it's the same kind of "stoning" that Saint Stephen suffered...)

No shaving. Blue Mavs shirt on away game days, white for home games. If the Mavs aren't leading at the half, put the Dirk action figure on top of the tv for the 2nd half and channel the goodness.

Yeah, I got in on that same deal. Your post served as a friendly reminder for me to wear my tie to work as well.

I've sacrificed my whole biorhythm and am regularly going to work on 3-4 hours of sleep.
Unfortunately, I am flying tomorrow night so if the shit gets dangerous, I'll take some of the fall.

I drink a beer for every 3 the mavs hit that is the most 3 a mav has made...
so for instance, I drank a beer when Kidd hit his first one, and then 2 when Peja hit his second... and then 3 etc. Meaning I had 5 beers last night. Part of the ritual is that they are all drank through my mavericks coozie.

I also got the ties at the same time and place, and I also only actually wear that one.
I wear my new blue Dirk jersey for every game and force my dog to wear his Dirk jersey as well. He hates it, but a MFFL's gotta do what a MFFL's gotta do.
