RE:Dallas-Mavs.com Fantasy Football League Part II
this ain't the D-M league, but here's my lineup this weekend:
QB: Brett Favre, Green Bay
HB: Willis McGahee, Buffalo
HB: Carnell Williams, Tampa Bay
WR: Chad Johnson, Cincinnatti
WR: Michael Clayton, Tampa Bay
TE: Alge Crumpler, Atlanta
K: Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland
DEF: Baltimore
my opponent has Hasselbeck, Holt, Coles, Jimmy Smith, LT, Bell, McMichael, Graham and Tampa Bay. hopefully I'll win.

ah, janikowski. disappointing first game from him..only 2 points sounds like you have a fairly solid team..only two wide receivers? not a very deep league, how many players are there?

RE:Dallas-Mavs.com Fantasy Football League Part II
My lineup in week 1 vs. Chumdawg
QB - Tom Brady
WR - Chad Johnson
WR - Anquan Boldin
WR - Isaac Bruce
RB - LaDainian Tomlinson
RB - Curtis Martin
W/R - Deion Branch
K - Ryan Longwell
D - Keith Bulluck
D - Julius Peppers
D - Brian Urlacher
Thats the team right there that is winning this league.
The only other team that has a chance is Team Spinaroonie, who is that BTW?

RE: Dallas-Mavs.com Fantasy Football League Part II
I'd go with rogers over Randel El. At least until he gets hurt, anyway. for a 12 team league thats pretty good roster.
mavs413, we'll see come playoff time. a lot can change between now and then..and its only the last two games that 'really' matter ;D went like 12-3 last year then in playoffs I played against steve McNair's backup when he had the stinkin 6 touchdown game. was a terrible playoff ending. whorrible

RE: Dallas-Mavs.com Fantasy Football League Part II
Yeah, Mavs413, I was looking at our matchup, and that's what starting getting me all pissed off that I had to throw my roster full of junk out there just so Sikey can get remedial lessons in playing this game. I hate taking a beating, even if it is for a charitable cause.
Screw the sikeymonkey!!
Nah, but seriously, you do look to have a stout bunch. How'd you get both LT and Martin? You effer. I noticed the nice game Branch threw out there, too. Kinda hacked me off, because I joined another remedial league after I joined sikey's, and I had a chance to grab him instead of Dennis freakin' Northcutt, who I cut a day after the draft. Sigh.
But isn't Brady considered a second-tier fantasy QB?

The Sikey developmental league is nada. Winning a game in the developmental league is like dating an ugly person. Nothing to brag about. League I is all that matters.

He still has players on his team that are playing tonight and has McNabb on Monday night. And the defensive player's stats havent even been counted yet....Zach Thomas had like 15 tackles today. Its not over yet Madape.

grats Jthig, I for sure thought I'd make it. I can't believe Horn/Crumpler/Dunn only got me a stinking 8 points. I think I did pretty well considering my top 3 draft picks were complete busts, TO, Culpepper and Horn.

Personally, I think I like the team defenses better. I think it makes the defense more important. With the individual defenders, you were practically guaranteed 2-4 points per week, and at best could hope for 8-10 on a good week. That's not a very big swing, whereas, with a team defense, if you play the wrong defense, you could be looking at a 20 point swing.
But I really enjoyed the league, thanks for organizing it.
Oh, and since I gave Just211 props for his win in the other thread, I don't feel bad for giving myself props for winning this leage.
1st in this one and 2nd in the other dm.com league, not too shabby. Course this means I would suck next year. That's the way it works.

I know...I started out so strong this season and injuries bit me in the end....I still had fun though and admit I did not pay too much attention once my NBA leagues began....
