Come on, four offensive rebounds for OKC in a row. How about some defense?

George sucks.
Throws the ball right to the other team, and barely hit rim on a jumper.

Dirk is glued to the floor. He has allowed Nenad to get the offensive rebound at least twice over him. Get the rebound, Dirk.

I know it's only been a few minutes so far, but the Mavs are already trying everything to keep OKC in the game. They play no defense, allow offensive rebounds and lack concentration. I just don't get it.

Dirk's leaving his shots a bit short.
The Mavs just need to rebound.

I would understand the techincal, except for the fact that I've seen players do that before. Pull them selves up just slightly as they jump down. I don't ever remember techs for those times...

Get Dirk more shots, imo.
And don't put George back in. Speaking of: why did Wright only play 3 minutes in the 1st, then get pulled?

honestly... what is the big deal about hanging on to the rim? Is it because they are afraid they will break the glass? Is it too demonstrative (and they don't do anything about flopping?)?

Because they play down to their opponents. And they are on the road.

The Mavs have intensity issues. They aren't good enough to coast. But they coast way too many times.
