Default Dampier Pass In Spurs Game

Incredible behind the back pass by Damp to Josh Powell for a dunk, that was almost Nash like. You have to see it again to believe it. Here's the highlight link of the game. Just click on highlights in the Spurs, Mavs box. http://www.nba.com/games/20060407/scoreboard.html

lol, my favorite part of Damp's pass is watching Pop on the sidelines flipping out

Yea, Fin was supposed to help down after Duncan went to double Damp and Pop lost it. It was a nice look but Powell was wide open so it didn't have to be very precise.

Damp is a GREAT passer for a post player. Its the most underrated aspect of his game. He is every bit the passer that guys like duncan and shaq who are noted for their passing are. The only problem is he doesnt draw a double the way they do. That said he throws the best outlet pass in the nba.

I noticed him trying to make some quite fancy passes before, but that usually happens when he's having a really good game. When he knows he's having a good scoring and rebounding game, he really goes Bezerk and thinks he's Vlade Divac or something. I wish I'd see it more often, but the defenses he faces would have to have more respect for his shot for him to be really effective, and I just don't see that happening any time soon.
