Really unfortunate traveling call on Dirk when he hit the shot to tie the game.

But they had opportunities after that. What a bummer.

And they displayed just one slomotion. They knew why. I think the official made some nice extra bucks...

I'll have to download this one later to see the calls and etc. But it sounds like a heartbreaking Mavs game...

^^You don't have to download the game. Just go to NBCOlympics.com. They have a streaming version of that and all games.

So I just watched it.

- The traveling call...I really can't see how the call could be made. I didn't really see an obvious travel, I did see feet almost get tangled but I can't see a traveling call being made there. Then as mentioned it hurts when its a 4 point swing.

-Charge: That's such a 50/50 call. It really can go either way. I can understand why both sides would want the call it was just a bad coin flip for Dirk.

That 3-ball at the end was so sad to watch, you could hear the crowd getting scared for Dirk getting the open look. It was in there, and it just rattled out.

Too bad for Dirk, he didn't have much in terms of help today but he went down swinging.

You can't control what the ball do...

Sadly...Josh will be an improvement for Dirk if you want to compare Germany's production today.

After being sacked in the group stage, Dirk has anounced his retreat from the german national basketball squad.

what the hell was that for a game ?
need against misery... bad versus terrible?
absolutely embarrassing!
no more words on this debacle.

well at least Dirk might fly back earlier as planned. he became an
uncle (again?) last Thursday ! Silke gave birth to a daughter,
named Leila. and he will meet his niece as soon as even possible...

... after a solide game (hopefully) vs USA on Monday.

enjoy it and take time to rest before the return to bigD.
