Donnie Nelson is calling this the biggest game in the history of Chinese basketball. Although that may not be saying much, it's going to be crazy in there. Dirk's going to have to be great for Germany to pull this one out.

I'm not sure if I can get out of bed early enough for this one to see it live...I may have to do it though since it's critical to Dirk's/Germany's chances of moving on.

It will definitely be crazy. China as the host country, winner gets a spot in to move on....

Where would you see it live? Is one of the NBC networks carrying it or are you talking online?

whatever will carry it, if I'm up...I'll watch it.
I haven't had any problems watching stuff online...the quality is fine and etc. So that doesn't bother me.

It'll be live on the NBC basketball channel I think. And of course online.

Finally Germany took the lead but it's far from over. Ming really is a beast from outside and inside. Just like Dirk :P

What a dominant second quarter from Germany. IF they can get past the crowd-enduced burst coming out for the second half, they've got a great shot here.
If their offense stalls to being the 3rd quarter they have to get Roller in there quickly. He made a huge difference in the second quarter.

Jthig, I am watching it but if I have any window open besides the damn NBC feed then it slows my comp down so much that I can't watch the game.

Great effort by Dirk. Kaman was good on the boards, Roller was awesome. Everyone else sucked horribly.

That's the german team for you. It's still a miracle how Dirk can lead them to so much success
