It seems like the Spurs still don't have a guy that they trust to play crucial minutes at the PF or C spot alongside Duncan. Horry isn't a regular season guy anymore, and Elston, Oberto and Bonner haven't fit the bill this season, either.

Man. I just can't see the spurs closing the gap. Never have they looked so old.

Damn that shot by nash I've seen a zillion times. Duncan has been atrocious down the stretch. Hell of a job by bowen.

It's amazing how one dimensional bowen is. Way too many quick shots by the spurts.

That call hurt. Nash sets the illegal screen but gets the foul call on a 3-pointer.

I must admit...watching the spurts is an exercise in whine.

I'm so FREAKING sick of the Nash love. Nash set a moving pick and tripped up Ginobli, and all of a sudden he's a freaking hero.
ughhhh

The reffing in this game has been a joke. But, of course, this is the Nba...

We also need to remind ourselves that this is the 2nd night of a b2b for the Spurs, something they've historically sucked at. The Suns, with 2 days of rest, should not gloat over winning this game, if they do. I honestly don't think this proves anything.

Ok, I wanted to make I wasn't the only one who saw that moving screen on Nash.

Spurs on the 2nd night of a back to back is not "elite"
Let's see them beat Dallas.

I guess this games goes to show: You don't have to play defense to beat the Spurs!

Appears so. I'm not sure I've seen the spurts look so confused before however. Now they'll clank up some more 3ptrs and get nothing going to the basket.
With Duncan not making a damn thing they just don't even attempt to get to the hoop. I thought the mavs settled, that team jacks 'em up.

Ballgame.....It must be bittersweet for chum. The object of his erection (Nash) and the Suns won the game, but Rasheed was the only one that got the goodies.

wow, what happened down the stretch? I had to step outside of my office for a few minutes, and the Spurs only scored 1 point in the last 2 minutes.

Suns fans will say that they beat SA by 16 points, when that lead doubled in the final minute after the Spurs, exhausted had given up.
But this game isn't without its positives - 6 1/2 games up!

Bruce Bowen 0-4 and if he can't hit a 3 he doesn't do anything. Robert Horry 12 minutes, 1 rebound. Finley 21 minutes 1 rebound. When Brent Barry outscores, out rebounds those 3 guys, you are in big trouble.
God...they look so done.

Raja is one competitive sob. The spurs could use someone like that, classy or not.

I thought the Suns were done once Raja Bell went down. It was also huge how Amare played on the boards with Kurt Thomas not playing either. I wonder why the Suns don't have Barbosa starting over Raja Bell?
So much for the theory the Suns can't close out games too. Amare was a freak tonight which I think helped them. Funny how he played even better once GROINobili pissed him off.
