GDT: EFF Rondo Rockets @ Mavs 6:00 pm CST
The mavs come out without rondo, and continue the trend of out scoring the rockets when he is on the bench, given that he will play 0 minutes this results in a 107-101 win and we realize that rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated.

Easy win for the Rockets with all the distraction around the Mavs.
I dont see a chance to win a Game without Parsons.

Ride JJ like Tibs rides Jimmy Butler. Same initials so it might work.

I think we have a good chance to come together now and play as a team with players who get along well. Knowing that Rondo is not coming back should help clear the air and make everyone focus on the task ahead. I hope Ellis and Dirk will carry the load and guys like Felton and Barea contribute big time. We can't be worse than the last two games, where we had a decent chance to win, despite Rondo. It's addition by subtraction really.
I am positive we will beat the Rockets by double-digits in both games at home.
Go Mavs!!!

Mavs were doing fine the first 3 quarters without Rondo. Just remember to switch channel/pause stream for 5 minutes when Dirk and Stoudemire are together on the floor.

Can we reactivate Rondo for one play so that he can break Harden's leg or whatever?
I mean, that stupid fucker owes us big time and it should be a 20-game suspension at best.

The guy said, "No mas!" or maybe "No Mavs!"..., so Who Cares?!?!?!
Jose Juan "Bilbo Baggins" Barea, Raymond "McWhopper" Felton, Monta "Hero Ball" Ellis, and perhaps, Devin "Ears" Harris will make Mavs fans forget Rajon "No Mas" Rondo when they lead the team to a first victory that will inspire the Mavs to win four consecutive games and thus the series....
Mavs - 110
Ratchets - 104

Me too. Now that we've gotten rid of the distraction, we'll put on a good effort. These guys are too passionate to let us be swept. Ellis and Dirk will come out strong with 25+ each. It may be the only game we win, but with the distractions gone and guys accepting the injuries, enough people will step up to win this one.

Mavs win by 3. JJB is player of the game because he totally frustrates Harden with his relentless and pestering defense. He draws 2 offensive fouls and helps to get him in foul trouble by halftime. JJB becomes the "Hobbit of the hardwood" and the Mavs fans start a new campaign, "Fear the Hobbit!"

Tonight we see how much of a cancer Rondo really is on chemistry. I hope this team can come together. We still have a PG rotation going. I'd say bring back the 2 man game we saw last year with Monta and Dirk!

Rockets have been a good road team all year. I think they will play better in Dallas for a third straight 10+ point win.

I'm curious to find out what kind of demeanor the Mavs wil bing to the court. If they were able to come together after the Rondo-fiasco and even Monta is all-in (at least for this playoff-run), I think they can still even this series and then anything is possible.
But it's also possible that they don't have much fight left. We'll see.
Being up 2-0 the Rockets will feel geat about themselves regardless, making it much more difficult for us. Rick needs to have sth in store to counter their big-big-p&r, all while keeping Harden from breaking out, which may happen anyway. To an extent, the Mavs might even be able to stomach that.
Just can't unravel any further. And have Devin avilable throughout the game.
Go Mavs!

What a sad fast break and hopefully the D gets better. Force Harden to be a jumpshooter by going under the screen.

Harden getting a shooting drill.
No Contest no Heart in this team. Embarrassing.
